He's not wrong you know.
The Congress was the Hindu party that the Muslims of the subcontinent feared when they broke away from India.
What was RSS doing at the time? Was the BJP even there?
The Congress represents the Hindu that all of us chose to side with when the two nations were formed.
Not the RSS or the BJP. Sorry boss, but you guys need to smell the coffee.
Cheers, Doc
Congress had too many muslims to call it a hindu party. Muslims simply couldn't live under hindu rule and wanted out.
RSS didn't for till WW1. It stated only later and hence couldn't gain traction. Also, RSS did not campaign as it agreed to be subdued in favour of congress to have united opposition.
Who are you to describe hindutva when you don't claim any allegiance?
I am talking about the demographic that makes up defence forums.
Middle class. White collar. Educated. On the internet.
The kind who (hopefully) have always paid their taxes.
The kind who have been frothing post the BJP came to power.
Who now are not laughing dismissively anymore. But sullenly warning other Indians to behave or their localities would be attacked by Hindu mobs. And they would be "micturating" in their underpants.
Those lumpen.
Cheers, Doc
The demographic that makes up defence forums are even more in support of BJP. The hatred for Muslims were always in this upper demographic.
I do not agree at all.
But you have the right to your own opinion.
Let us leave it at that and not derail the thread by making it about people. It would be a gross injustice to the needs of the nation, straining as it is under the weight of the BJP's incompetence. Massive corruption. And anti Indian stance.
Cheers, Doc
Anti India stance? Who gave you the rights to describe what is Indian? Who gave congress the right to describe what is dharma? Congress or anyone did not invent dharma.
Dharma is not based on what you agree or opine. Just like Persian of the past is not persian of the present, there is no point in speaking about what is Indian or not. There is no consistency. So, better to speak of principles rather than place of birth.
I am speaking about the Hindutva that includes all Indians.
From this soil.
Not only those who still practice Hinduism.
Big difference in both Hindutvas.
Why would you grudge a non Hindu the right to choose one over the other.
And who says your (BJP) Hindutva is more Hindu than my (Congress) Hindutva?
Cheers, Doc
Because my Hindutva is dharma which is not made by you or me. It can't be based on opinions or whims. Actionable principles are different from agreements or disagreement.
Whats the use of all that when it is Hindus who will boot the BJP out?
A bawa who represents at max some 20-30,000 votes, which a small basti in India would top, is not going to change things.
Nice to voice out on forums though.
Cheers, Doc
You just spoke as if you were a representative of parsi community. Parsi community with population of 55000 also falls under the bawa. Even worse, many parsis are BJP supporters.
And Maneckshaw wasn't the first.
Nor will he be the last.
Yup, for the size of our community, we've had our shot at the top. Rajiv has always been seen as a Parsi by the community.
Even Rahul to an extent. Their family ties to the community are still strong (my immediate family on my wife's side ...)
Cheers, Doc
P.S. We do not see Indian Muslims (or Pakistanis) as representative of the Arabs.
For Parsis, they are the same people from the same civilization which we adopted as our new home.
Our enmity with Pakistan has nothing to do with religion. We are not Hindus, and do not share blood.
Its the ideology for us.
One does not become enemies because of place of birth. Enmity between children born in different hospitals is unheard of.
How sure are you that Feroze was not a muslim? Feroze's father was a muslim and mother a hindu. Since father's religion is adopted, Feroze was a muslim. So much for being parsi.
Also, you never adopted India. Hindus adopted you. You owe your existence to hindus. It will only be fair to ask you to leave for persia if you don't like the adopted home.
