Ukraine - Russia Conflict

Several sources (including the Ukrainian spokesman for the Ukrainian administration in Odessa, quoted in the English-language media) report that a Russian multirole support vessel, the Vsvolod Bobrov, has been damaged or is on fire off Snake Island.

Nah it has all to do with Nato. Since after this war whatever is left of ukraine will join nato. And russia doesn't want nato to get access of the Black Sea. The plans were initially for regime change but now its for just denying any access to the Black sea.
It has already been said that Ukraine accession even to the EU will not be quick. Putin's plans are always annexation, he even tries similar stuff in the Baltics.

It's got to the point where countries have to join NATO just to avoid Russian annexation.

Ukraine has announced that it has hit another Russian ship. Russia's invasion of Ukraine 79. As it enters the day, the fight between the two countries around the strategic Snake Island in the Black Sea is also gaining momentum. Ukraine said it shot another Russian army ship near the island, a strategic base in the Black Sea. Ukraine has announced that it has hit another Russian ship off the strategic-value Snake Island in the Black Sea. Ukrainian military official Sergiy Bratcuk in Odessa said the Russian extraction ship Vsevolod Bobrov burned after being shot with a missile. Us-based satellite imaging company Maxar also shared images of the Serna-class military ship being damaged. In addition, images of buildings damaged in the clashes were also published on Snake Island. The recent clashes on Snake Island have become a war to take control of the Black Sea's western coast, according to some officials. Ukraine had previously announced that it had shot some Russian warships in the area. Reuters, meanwhile, was unable to verify the accuracy of Ukraine's claims from other sources. Moscow, Russia's flagship in the Black Sea Fleet, sunk last month, was one of the greatest strikes against the Russian army in the war to date. Ukraine reported that it sunk the ship by striking its own generation of Neptune missiles.

The conflict in Ukraine started almost 80 days ago and has already changed military doctrines. Armies around the world are watching the war very closely and have already begun to learn from it.

The war in Ukraine has brought to light the old military adage: the first victim of a conflict is the plan. After nearly 80 days of war, what the military is observing is that the very effective and fierce Ukrainian resistance is based on a decentralised, elastic chain of command, supported by dispersed logistics. On the other hand, the bigger you are, the more you are a target. Russian invasion planning is rigid and stumbles at the drop of a hat.

Second observation: this is the first time, the officers point out, that during a conflict, the private sector, especially the American one, is so involved and makes up for the shortcomings of a state. An example is Starlink, Elon Musk's satellite internet access service that provides communications for the Ukrainian army. Geolocation, facial recognition software, Clearview, Twitter, DiiA, offer intelligence solutions via social networks. Interoperable, they are as effective as military systems. Never before seen, and this is a very big deal, say the armies.

The smartphone is as important as a weapon

Like the assault rifle, the telephone has become essential, which is one of the direct lessons of the conflict. Indispensable for communication and intelligence, it is a formidable weapon in intangible fields, in the struggle for influence, and its camera can even be used for remote medicine. In the near future, strategists say, the secure smartphone will have to be in every soldier's pocket. Superimposing kinetic as well as virtual effects is the key to success, say the military. The soldiers in Kiev have been innovating for eighty days and the Western armies are not missing a beat.

Just to add to the above, washing machines have also played a somewhat unconventional role in this war, which NATO experts are still examining at this stage.

Detected - destroyed. Accurate work of SBGS artillery. Orcs draw their "swastikas" even on top of the technique, apparently to make it easier for our intelligence to identify them
