Perhaps singapore's premilenials elected a man (Lee Kuan Yew) who converted a fishing village into financial hub , whereas india's premilenials elected a man who through his socialism policies converted a great civilization into the one which had more poor people than the whole African continent .
No British colonialism did that... I'm sure you know that history
Only proves British were good at leaving whole countries pauper.....I'm sure you also know that when British left Singapoor in 1959, its GDP percapita was one of the lowest in the World?
Is this including Gilgit-Baltistan?
But I suppose that's at the cost of more casualties on our side, or does it even out?
And also a greater threat of Pakistan using nukes since Punjab is threatened when you go through plains.
min casualty?
Difficult to predict as depends on opposition and dispersion of assets on own side. Also, individual commander/soldiers abilities to think on feet. More people get killed of own stupidity in war than imaginable.
I am interested in knowing given that our military has not executed any such operation recently (last 2 decades) on what basis are these estimations based on ? During kargil , military said they will evict intruders in a week or two then the operation stretched to 3 months.
Even though we conduct wargames/military exercises, simulations...etc we might not have full picture of our own capability & strength vis-a-vis to the enemy.
Out of curiosity I want to turn around the question a bit and ask , as a military person what would be your reaction if a civilian says they can deliver a fighter jet/sub..etc in next year. Would military go to war on the assumption that they will get the promised hardware or would they say we don't believe in bakwas .......![]()
I am sorry for my twisted logic and words that are actually written in constitution, couldn't muster the courage to quote from thin air, anything, as per my wish and attribute it to constitution and then in every reply tell others how uninformed those fools are.Like I said ruling regime and its supporters will come out with various twisted logic, like parliament can legislate on behalf of a state with a legislature (not a UT with legislature)
Yup, couldn't grasp it even if it put all my brain on it.but those are finer points of some constitutional grey areas.
Follow up question - has the decision been made to do this? If yes why are we waiting for them to initiate rather than acting preemptively?
Anyway, I've heard that all the fighter jets will be getting new SDRs by next month on an emergency basis.
Is that for avoiding getting caught with our pants down or is sh!t really going down that the IAF is now in a hurry to get the new kit?
Decision to do something emphatically - yes. Pre-emptively - yes and no.
We will not be the first to cross the Line, neither will we be the last. Make what you can, of this.
There is a silver lining to the false propaganda of Pakistan. Other than them, no one believes it. More the fake propaganda, more agitated will be the brain washed population of Pakistan and less manageable will they be for the rulers of Pakistan. They creating problems for themselves with this false propaganda.[/QUOTE/]
Sir do you think will they do a misadventure??

Nah this is all hogwash, Kashmiris are actually picking up guns en masse because this is first thing common people do. Once they get a right that empowers them first thing that common people do is pick guns and start violence.I'm actually impressed by the way J&K police & CRPF handled the situation. It shows that if hands are not tied, they can prevent any violent revolting efficiently.
The total casualties reported is just 13 pellet injuries,I was expecting casualties to be way higher
I was also monitoring a Kashmiri students private Telegram channel, many of them went to Kashmir valley and came back. All of them reporting that everything is normal, no violence
I had a bad feeling that we may be hiding some violence, but after hearing from Kashmiri students,I am impressed
Some comments
1)"Just reached back Delhi.
Everything is normal and fine in Kashmir."
2)"Yes there was a peaceful protest on eid in chanapora,no violence"
3)"my mom's friend came from Kashmir today she said halat thik hai apart from a couple of protests aur sanatnagar market shaam ko khula hota hai dvai Khana and all sab milta hai the only problem is communication blockade private transport is also plying on the roads though there is no public transport"
