Isn't it obvious they have political motives? Ex. Kudankulam agitation. No rocket science that you find it difficult to understand. Catholics and keralite Christians have lived peacefullyin india for hundreds of years. Why all of a sudden people blame the Vatican ? Rome and Christian missionaries function very differently.

Please go thru the history of the Sangh & the Hindu Mahasabha. The Sangh deferred to the Congress till Gandhi took his title of Mahatma seriously .Around 1946 . The transformation of the Sangh from boy scouts to para military force in defence of the Hindus occurred around that time . No one realises the damage done to the Sangh thanks to the assassination of Gandhi by one of their former members more than the Sangh itself . It's a rather lengthy story worthy of a few thesis not something which can be condensed into a para or two here.
