Indian Political Discussion

People are even justifying meta and Google
I literally saw some idiots posting they trust Meta and Google more than GoI. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

These are the same people who were using Tiktok on their phone. One of my friend was crying about government surveillance yesterday, same guy was also crying a few years back when government banned Tiktok and some other chinese apps...we have some weirdly contradictory creatures among us....

Funny thing , it's the anti-capitalist who are most ferocious in their defense of stance " meta is good, US govt can't use companies data and GOI is bad".

And then there are some ignorants who think that whatsapp encryption means trustworthiness. Idk what is happening for people to sidestep logic in their anti-govt agenda

The leftist rot that plagues India.
Yeah I remember reading about this project like back in 2017. I'm shocked that it got cancelled because of stupid TN politics. For all the drama Stalin does on SM for being pro science, his government was rather quick to oppose INO.

This is just the tip of iceberg. It's the mentality of left all over India.
Today India is facing crunch due to indigo.
But same people criticising govt for actions of corporate were the first one to derail bullet trains, mock high speed rail network and UDAAN scheme. The very solutions against the monopoly in aviation sector.

IN right hand they hold placards to protest against pollution and in left hand they hold placards to protest against nuclear energy. While taping a banner opposing dams, hydropower on their head.

Protest against technology, scientific endeavour and development and cry wolf when license raj and outdated infra bites back.

The more advance a society becomes more the government has to answer. How a simple professor of political science from Taxila went to Nada Empire and warned the emperor of incoming invasion led to India being almost got invaded by Alexander. This also led to the fall of Nanda empire later.

Every smallest view is gold and a step towards betterment.

Its a very weird phenomenon here in India, where everyone's expected to do every job except their own.

Here, politicians are priests, priests are businessmen, businessmen are lifestyle coaches, lifestyle coaches are doctors, doctors are influencers, incluencers are journalists, journalists are party spokespeople, party spokespeople are bureaucrats, and bureaucrats are politicians. That's a full circle.

And of course, anything mildly deflationary to this glorious land's prestige has to be a leftist/muslim/lower caste/lgbtq/liberal/not hindu enough conspiracy. Its not as if a certain political entity has had 300+ seats for 10 years, followed by 300+ in coalition for another 2, with full control of the legislative and executive direction of this country. Nah, it was Nehru that really *censored*ed up Indigo and the aviation market, right.

Funny enough, some of the richest, most industrialised, and fastest growing, states in this richly destitute great land happen to be run by leftist rot. But hey, that's a conspiracy by Nehru as well, in conjunction with the religious minority and lgbtq.

In fact, this conspiracy runs so deep, that you have people complaining of a lack of good services, hospitals, schools and colleges!! The sheer audacity!! If the supreme leader has essentially frozen education and healthcare spending over the last 5-6 years, its for the betterment of the people, it just seems everyone's too dumb to understand this.

If India lacks proper corporate regulations, anti-trust laws, and corporate accountability, its gotta be for a reason. And here you have these uninformed people blaming the supreme leader and his regime!!! Notwithstanding the sheer anti-national-ness of questioning the leader, they pretend as if its the government that actually runs things, these people haven't yet understood that its all Nehru.

What untold sorrows will befall this nation if people actually demand accountability from the guys in power!!?? Nah, that would actually be a leftist/liberal/CIA/KGB/religious minority/black/brown/khangress/CONgress/lgbtq conspiracy. The sooner the people wake to this, and vote in the supreme leader with no less than 720+ seats in the Lok Sabha, the sooner will this country overtake China and the US in 2 years every 2 years for the next 30 years.

It was nice to see Sanchar Saathi stuff backfiring on the idiotic baboos, the politicians saw the backlash and put these baboos in their place. There was no need to make an app preloaded which came with so many "app permissions" and was supposed to be uninstallable. I already keep my phone free of Facebook and Instagram and the last thing needed was another battery sucking bloatware. Good riddance !!

Apparently both Apple and Samsung had refused to preload this crap, surprised to see Samsung having a spine, generally its only Apple standing firm on such things. I guess the Chinese phone markers were ok with this as they are used to such things in China. Nice Article on this:

This was a ham handed attempt to snoop on conversations since we've no proprietary OS or S/w like the west.

Not being well versed in IT or its various tools whether H/w & S/w , I believe there are many other options including bypassing such OEMs by installing back door entries into the stacks employed by Service Providers which can be much more effective , based on chatter on SM & other fora.

It's quite obvious that our baboons lack the requisite technological expertise to devise a fool proof non controversial mechanism to pre empt the kind of plots we recently saw at the Red Fort. And we're supposed to go up against China in a few years.

Government already uses software like Pegasus, considering most Indians have some cheap Chinese smartphones, infiltrating into these phones according to a friend well versed in cybersecurity is not too hard, as is snooping on even WhatsApp chats. The real problem may come when trying to do the same with the Android phones which have more protections such as Google Pixels or Samsung Galaxys and of course iPhones which have the most stringent and rock solid security of all smartphones. Infact I think gov tried to use Pegasus foolishly against some opposition leaders (rightfully so!) and those who had iPhones were notified by Apple that "a state hacker is trying to get into your phone". My main gripe with this was being a so called IT superpower why couldn't we make a Pegasus like software ourselves? Or perhaps we have and its kept under the wraps.

We can track call records, phone locations very easily, but the main issue is can we infiltrated and conduct surevallaince on the smartphones belonging to internal 0.5 elements especially if they are say iPhones? @spice I believe sent a long article detailing China's covert war against us and one point said China called several prominent Indian "journalists" and gave them iPhones with Cloud accounts based on Chinese servers!!!! For what purpose is this except to communicate with 0.5 front elements? We really need to step up our Cyber surveillance capabilities.

Wow which developed states are run by leftists? Kerala which has lesser industry than fckin Guetemala? Or perhaps you are calling the DMK leftist which is stupid as an ethno nationalist party can hardly be called a "leftist" party just because it throws away freebies which even the so called fascistic party of the Supreme Leader does (guess the BJP is leftist now). Or perhaps Maharastras government is leftist now? Or Gujarats?

Speaking about Nehru and his family while there were many things which they did correctly and superbly, such as the nuclear program, IGBMP, Arihant class, IITs etc for which even I as a so called "fascist right winger" admire and respect them for, there were numerous blunders which they did for which they deserve to be shat on, blunders which are orders of magnitude higher than what even the current "supreme leader" did in his rather mild term as PM and which even got some of them killed in the most horrible and grisly fashion. There's a reason why their once glorious party has been reduced to a sad little band being run by some half breed mutt who's having a mid life crisis.

Supreme leader is on the way out and you wont see as PM after 29 so relax, take a deep breath.

Wow which developed states are run by leftists?
Karnataka, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu.
As far as economics is concerned, all parties in India adhere to market capitalism with varying degrees of state presence.

Kerala which has lesser industry than fckin Guetemala?
Yes, that as well.
Or perhaps you are calling the DMK leftist which is stupid as an ethno nationalist party can hardly be called a "leftist" party just because it throws away freebies which even the so called fascistic party of the Supreme Leader does (guess the BJP is leftist now).
Any one that does politics to the left of the overton window is a "Leftist". That includes the atheistic, government intervention-enthusiast, ethno-nationalist "Leftists" who give away freebies left, right and centre and grow their economy at 11+% in real terms.
Or perhaps Maharastras government is leftist now?
Economically? They are, only without the GDP growth that the ethno-nationalist "Leftists" or the Nehruvian "Leftists" in the south usually manage.
Or Gujarats?
Nah, Gujarat's more of a right-leaning, sometimes crony capitalist, state. Its also the only big state that hasn't had proper growth stats for a couple of years now.

Agreed. But they died decades ago. What's happening today is happening today, and someone else is in the seat that these guys once occupied.
Still, if you want, maybe summon Nehru, India Gandhi, and Rajiv Gandhi to answer, under oath, for their mistakes? Have the CBI question them and release the interrogation footages. Yeah, that's not possible, is it?
There's a reason why their once glorious party has been reduced to a sad little band being run by some half breed mutt who's having a mid life crisis.
Don't think anyone disagrees with this. That party died between 1997, 1998 and 1999. What survived managed to nostalgia-trip its way to power between 2004-14.

But then, this sad little band hasn't been in power since 2014. The current dispensation has been. Hence, scrutinise them.
Supreme leader is on the way out and you wont see as PM after 29 so relax, take a deep breath.
Uhh, who is the prime minister now? Supreme Leader? Then he should be questioned and held accountable for the things that happen under his leadership. His party's in power, if stuff happens in India, its his responsibility.

The aforementioned IITs that you admire Nehru for? Yeah, take this from a pretty recent co-called tier-1 engineering college graduate - they're hopelessly obsolete by modern standards (like seriously, visit the civil/mech engineering labs in IIT Delhi). And what does supreme leader do? He freezes or cuts their budgets.

Healthcare? Let's not talk about it, yeah?

Telecoms? They forget to bill a certain player for tower usage. Aviation? A single company holds thousands of people hostage across airports. Jobs? Its easier to become a millionare in the US than it is to get a decent job here.

And what are supreme leader's ministers doing? One of them promises to make roads as good as America's in 2 years every 2 years. There's kadi ninda, who's yet to improve India's brain-dead procurement. And then there's laser eyes, who has verbal diss-offs with foreign journalists while the country's ground presence in other countries continues to stagnate/shrink.

Normally, one would expect people to question the aforementioned ministers. But here, if you are a politician (and thus a minister), forget about everyone questioning you. In the off-chance where you get someone questioning you, there's no need to answer, or even think of a pathetic excuse of an answer. Your devotees in the general public would bend over backwards, give logic that would befuddle a zombie, and justify a life that'd make coackroaches scared, all for you.

So yeah, be it the dynasty (the one that actually won elections), or the supreme leader, it seems accountability eludes both. The only thing is, the dynasty's gone, while the supreme leader's the current prime minister of India.

Eitherway, sincere apologies if this offended anyone.

Meh government could simply snoop by colluding with your telecom provider if they wish to. They don't need to go an extra length to make us install an app. Intelligence agencies probably already are aware of such tricks and vulnerabilities like one shown in this video. Everyone should watch this, no app installation, no click on any link. Just SS7.

Quite evidently you're intelligent enough like many of your generation to identify & excoriate the political leadership for its many failings & short comings but not the foresight or the intellect to see what's coming in the near & mid term future leave aside the long term future.

I won't even waste my time or yours asking you to glance around our neighborhood & the see the condition they live in although they or at least most of them fulfill western sociologists & political scientists ( including their Indian coolie / acolytes' ) pre requisites for a successful state , either partially or substantially , viz - uniformity in ethnicity , religion , language , culture etc .

If you think the situation is bad now , wait for a few decades when this period will seem like a golden age. The Chinese have an apt phrase for this condition , which while at first glance appears as a blessing , it isn't so in the least .

It goes like this - "May you live in interesting times. " It's an ancient Chinese curse.

The real gems come from CPI lot these days. The CPI(M) which is supposed to be communist, does not believe in the very concept of religion, should be a case study. Amongst the flag waving brigades that roams these lands they truly are the lot that brings the most amusement. They keep talking about the right and the dangers of the Hindu ideology. After the Hidma incident in New Delhi, I found this floating around. They keep dropping pearls such as these one after the other.

The chap is Hannan Mollah from WB.

Good one. Seems like you don't know who are being referred to as leftist. I will broaden the horizons but later. Because it's too early to get riled up over hidma/mao/marx lovers so early in the morning.

There were reports on how such scenarios can be avoided and early warnings that the GoI needs to pay attention to the burgeoning civil aviation market. All lost in the corporate and GoI halls. The netas, babus, and the corporates continue their 'chalta hai' mode.

They did gave Indigo like 3 years or so. DGCA had notified every airlines about it. Indigo knew these DGCA rules are coming this year. Air India did everything to comply with the new FDTL guidelines. Yet Indigo didn't bother doing anything for last 3 years. More than the government, IndiGo is responsible for this mess.
