How much more do you suggest we improve internal security? Kashmir is besieged by the IA & CAPF's apart from J&K Police. You can always expect the terrorists to attempt such stunts and be lucky at times too as in the past few days. That's what the whole offensive defence theory is all about. Inflict costs on the enemy and not just be in reaction mode. As far as inflicting costs go, that's limited to major outrages, as of now. In order for us to bring down such incidents as have occurred in the past few days, we'd have engineer a major insurgency within Pakistan by engaging actively with the malcontents there. That's another component of offensive defence. As of now the latter is on the back burner or the cold storage. Hence, you can expect more of such low intensity incidents for the tune being.
When I saw photos I was worried about driver and his co passenger but news said all 9 had minor injuries and stable so it felt like a major incident averted, guess it was incomplete news. May his soul rest in peace.
Not exactly, jihadis in Pakistan and Afghanistan are cheaper than informers in Kashmir at times, standard of living, risk and poverty being the factors.

Previous DG ISI was appointed just 9 months ago and the current one was the mastermind of Faizabad dharna that helped IK to get into power , something's absolutely fishy and also current DG is thought to be close to Bandbaja
Kashmir and balochistan is now playground for them and us..But seems we r nt very much successful on both the front,can anybody enlighten on this..

From Pakistan's perspective, there are multiple intentions and messages for the world at par -
- We are ramping up our anti-terrorism efforts. See we have a new ISI chief to go after terrorists
- Endia, look, we have intelligence network across the border. We are providing you with information of those who want to harm you - Pulwama II
- Pulwama II is doctored by the bhai-bhatija (ISI-Terrorists) to keep it to low intensity and low casualty to show Pakistan's serious anti-terrorism intentions towards Endia as well as to not provoke Endia
- Look FATF, we are doing so much to stop terrorism, that we are sharing the plans of terrorists on Endian side with Endia. So, please do not put us on the "black list"
All of this Jhumla baji will drive Modi And Doval MAD and as @vstoljockey already predicted with the impending celestial configurations, that 20th June on wards Pakistan will get roasted. Pakistan created Pulwama I to re-elect Modi to power, and now Pulwama II to deep fry themselves.
Interesting days ahead .... Between this Amarnath Yatra jamboree will ensure that Modi does not take any serious retaliatory measures against pakistan, unless say Terrorists kill a number of devotees..
They killed 8 devotees 2 years ago on Monday, there was no call for revenge and Shiv Bhakt Modiji didn't bother to avenge it even the terrorists responsible for it lived long before getting killed.
Unless there is a election nearby, designer attire available and TV Camera ON Shiv Bhakti can take a hike and revenge talks are limited to twitter and defence forums. Wake him up when there is major attack, tab tak marne do.
That is not in the case of Modiji...I will guarantee on this.But they should come up with a whole new idea to tackle this.
Success is a relative term..... Depends on what's your objectives are.....
1) Kashmir insurgency is openly supported by Pakistan as they consider themselves to be party on the conflict....
2) Baluchistan and India has no direct relation and we probably may have solidarity with them but nothing on ground....
3) The above is the official stand .... But we have quite a lot of consulates across Afghanistan..... Visa ofcourse
4) There are more parties interested in Baluclchistan than before. . Including US..
In past,when there was a CFV,Army claimed 8,10,12 etc No's of casualties in enemy side,but Pakistani hide them successfully. We got just 2or 3 names from different social media platfroms. Question is why? What do we do (RAW). Every digital platform is available for us to help but we do not use it properly.We are handling the 4th gen warfare.They always tried to trapping us why we r not using same or more then nasty tactics?Are we incapable to handle this mind game? When 8 Pakistanis names will pop up suddenly,the mind game will start from that time but we don't know even the pig-pilots name.If RAW IS INCAPABLE THEN IT SHOLUD BE DISMANTLE.
