Chrchill allying with Stalin 'the lesser evil' to fight Hitler is acceptable, but Bose allying with the Japanese who were the lesser evil is 'wrong'?

Churchill's plan involved keeping Britain and Western Europe independent. Bose's plan would only have put India and much of Asia under an even more brutal Japanese rule. It was tantamount to allowing China to invade you now in order to keep out an opposition party. Fortunately Mr. Bose cremated himself to save others the trouble.

Bose's plan involved keeping India and much of the so called British empire Independent from a government far worse than the Japanese. The Japanese have not killed even a fraction of the number of people the British killed.

We'd rather have taken a chance with the Nips than with the British. Post the Japanese surrender, Bose wanted to take advantage of the Cold War and team up with Stalin. Something that news clip alludes to. Something which got the Brits and Atlee shitting bricks 4 times the Size of Irish potatoes. Something which prompted the Brits to Scram out of the subcontinent with nothing much except the clothes they wore in less than two centuries since they began their Abominable rule in India, something which they practised with impunity in Ireland - which lasted 7 centuries.

You know for most people it's a case that the devil you know is better than the devil you don't, but you guys somehow always assume that the unknown devil is better.

He was martyred , Paddy. A glorious death.Instantaneously.Much better than atrophying after a series of strokes and soiling ones bed day in and day out begging for deliverance but not being able to express it. That's what comes out of making the Irish & Indians suffer along with a whole host of colonies suffer. That's poetic justice.

Aah the little girl couldn't resist going upstairs but also couldn't resist retaliation. Retaliation which calls our national heroes cowards. Something in full view of this forum for the past few months, which in spite of repeatedly bringing to the moderators notice went abegging. But the little girl's heart rending wails are more than enough to move the moderators into action. Nice.

I'm not very well versed on the political and economic intricacies of Brexit so I rarely visit this thread. Whenever I do take a peek, it's non-stop trolling and mudslinging....so maybe not too far from what's actually happening with Brexit eh?

How can it be mudslinging when all 3 of us are passionate supporters of brexit?
 
Back on topic. Labour's meaningful vote amendment was voted down. The SNP's extension was voted down and May's plan, including the opposition to no deal, was voted down. So there seems to be a consensus tending to no deal now.
