Indian Political Discussion

The Supreme Court summoned Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and other poll records to recount votes in a sarpanch (village head) election in Haryana. The case involved the Gram Panchayat of Buana Lakhu village in Panipat district.

A Bench of Justices Surya Kant, Dipankar Datta, and N Kotiswar Singh ordered the recount after a dispute arose over the election results. The recounting was done inside the Supreme Court, overseen by its registrar, and was fully videographed in the presence of both parties.

So, the EVM works right? Who declared the wrong candidate as winner must be held accountable.

Imagine if it was ballot paper.

Do have a look at the new Pew survey. These numbers are telling a tale. The government has started to set up fact check accounts now. If you do not combat hate on SM, you can forget about the soft power that MEA babus keep harping about. Internal reforms, infrastructure, corruption, civic sense, pollution, and a lax behaviour towards local municipal facilities continues to bog India down.

Many people avoid reading articles from left leaning magazines or newspapers. My advice to you is to pick any daily that you can access and give it a go every now and then whenever you feel like. Let the views be biased or tilted. Doing so will allow you to understand certain perspectives better. It will also allow views from outside your bubble to temper your judgement - 2 cents unsolicited advice.

It's actually very apt advice. Also let's us know what and how they are manipulating the words and data to con the public.

Most of times they contradict themselves in the same article. But it's still like an instruction guide to their low level sepoys on what to do next

In TN, all the new politicians and parties seem like implants.
1. Kamal Hassan - his party basic moto itself is for south india - creating north vs south
2. Seeman - He talks about Tamil nadu as country Tamil nadu vs India
3. Actor Vijay new party - Just employed Bangladesh social media content creators in mass scale to get Facebook 1 crore likes .
4 . Ruling Dmk linked to Kollywood cartel, Drug mafia. And getting load of loans and sinking state in debuts.

Only pro nationalist is Annamalai, but he is been told to keep away until state elections with ally ADMK.

ADMK is definitely not anti national. But their presence is not felt.

Recent law to impeach any CM or even PM , is it related to this under current moves or safe gaurd against Orange Top like situations?

This guy couldn't determine whether he should've been an urban party or rural based party & eventually fell between 2 stools. He couldn't even win his own seat .

His politics is basically a r s e licking Gulti Munnetra Kazhagam ideology.
2. Seeman - He talks about Tamil nadu as country Tamil nadu vs India
But Seeman is also differentiating between genuine Tamizh & pretenders like Annadurai & the trigonometrist Kalaignar who married thrice & who're essentially ethnic Telugu speakers or Andhras including Thiru Sudalai Madan
3. Actor Vijay new party - Just employed Bangladesh social media content creators in mass scale to get Facebook 1 crore likes .
Rice bag mafia & eventually the fate awaiting entire TN in this unholy project begun by the British & the Church inaugurated by Caldwell Appa carried forward by the Justice Party all comprised of upper castes immediately after the Brahmins in caste heirarchy followed by the Gulti Munnetra Kazhagam & the various splinter groups which came out of it the most notable one being the AIADMK to now the bankruptcy of ideas among all the Dravidian Stockist Parties leaving the field wide open for something like this to happen.

4 . Ruling Dmk linked to Kollywood cartel, Drug mafia. And getting load of loans and sinking state in debuts.
When Sudalai Madan goes this party will meet the same fate as the AIADMK.
Only pro nationalist is Annamalai, but he is been told to keep away until state elections with ally ADMK.
Because Modi wants to protect his backside at the centre so Annamalai is made the sacrificial lamb . The latter doesn't like the AIADMK & vice versa.

Last general elections the BJP got ~ 11% of the total vote share . He criticized everyone from the trigonometrist Kalaignar to Sudalai Madan to Soriyar / Betiyar you name it .

Had the BJP got a comfortable majority in the centre Annamalai would've continued in the state leadership role . But the fact the BJP barely managed to retain power & that too only with outside support rattled them . Hence their outreach to AIADMK.
ADMK is definitely not anti national. But their presence is not felt.
It's a dying party. I expect Gulti Munnetra Kazhagam to retain power with a reduced majority with a good amount of votes meant for the AIADMK going to rice bag party. That should further rattle the AIADMK.

Eventually their cadre will either move to Gulti Munnetra Kazhagam or to Thalaipathi Kiristavarkaḷ or to the BJP . Perhaps some may even move towards Seeman & other such marginal or fringe parties.
Recent law to impeach any CM or even PM , is it related to this under current moves or safe gaurd against Orange Top like situations?
Nope. It's more to prevent people running the administration from prison. Even Puraṭchikara Thalaivali quit her post & nominated Kanneer Swami as CM to run the administration.

Khujliwal & Soren too at least in the initial days broke the old understanding that an arrested politician if he or she holds public office will quit & will resume such duties only on being acquitted.

Khujliwal set a shameful precedent . Eventually future politicians who're incarcerated would resort to similar behaviour. This act is to nip things in the bud since the constitution doesn't have any such provisions.

Indians are so obsessed with their differences that it is amusing to see such instances. Of all the things to highlight this is what is being shown in social media. I can eat X, I will not allow you to eat X. I will fight you now.

Then of course there are the regional insults. However, the best part was someone daring another to eat pork - challenging them saying if they can organise a pork party. Fear does work wonders.

The complexity when it comes to governance is quite something. I beat the babus like a drum but I do not envy them.

This is another angle that gets exploited on SM for IW by bots. So many accounts with made up names and fake identities.

I wonder what the Keralites will have to say in a few years considering the changing demography. Perhaps someone can shed some light on the situation in Kerala compared to places like WB.
