Earlier Modi alone represented BJP, now Modi alone doesn't represent BJP any more. This is the major change. Now people are cautious about who is the local candidate and what has been done so far.

Still there are many constituencies where people ONLY voted for Modi and not the local candidate. But yes, what you said is also true(especially looking at UP/RJ debacle), so BJP needs to fine tune their strategy going into the next Election.

when you surround yourself with corrupt ppl you will also be seen as corrupt. Manmohan singh was not corrupt but ppl around him remote controlled him and indulged in corruption. Being in top position you cant give that I am not corrupt its the other ppl excuse.

Statements like these are what undermine the credibility of the WB govt. There are many people who say majority of the bjp leaders seem to be uneducated. However, it is statement ike these from the educated lot that show how much apathy has crept into the state government. This of all places comes from the Hindu.

The gandhi parivar has foreign bases where they can live.. hence they don't care of India dies, as long as they have their pockets full and toolkit managers to give them cover.

I have my reasons to say that. Just ask yourself a question. Can a person who have spent their childhood+teenage+early adulthood in India, in Indian ethos, environment, polity.. ever understand the nitty gritty of American Politics so much that they could govern USA better than their home grown politicians?
No, right? Then how can a person who doesn't understand india, steer the "grand old party" for the betterment of Indians. When you haven't lived the life, understood the issues faced, it's hard to govern from western perspective who still very much thinks all India has is tajmahal and curry.
Now understand the role your mother and father plays in your upbringing, in shaping your worldview.. and you can understand the hollow vision of Gandhi now.
Yes, parties like samajwadi have become bad, but when they came, they solved some real persistent issues. Problem is they went overboard with it and haven't evolved from then. Hence, it's time to end their politics and new faces need to come in regional parties on current issues faced. Leaders who have faced them themselves. That's what we lack today.
Regional parties fighting on age old issues and people sentimentally voting them for it. Cause core issues of mayawati, samajwadi, jdu, rjd, even dmk etc .. were very limited in scope that did well when it mattered. Now what matters is visionaries, technocrats. Regional parties who comes to foray on issues of infra, on creating cities etc.
Although there is always a chance that such parties turns out to be hollow since day one ergo AAP.
While BJP has shown better flexibility, in state govt, they seriously need a strong opposition which talks about educational, STEM, AI, need of infra and connectivity etc.. not hindi marathi, rajput, gurjar, pandit etc ...
And irony is that it's the "educated" and "well-off" indians who are himderance to actual growth.
Can't let the cabal win! And for that needs genuine opposition not what we have today. Especially at regional level.
And seriously time to kick away politics from Beauracracy and non govt platform
