When Swine flu arrived it infected 500 million people causing over 19000 thousand deaths WHO claims. CDC says over 3 lakhs. Still in europe people did not take vaccine for it. Year 2015 in India alone during the outbreak, over 36000 people were infected with swine flu and over 2000 deaths that accounts to 6% death rate., this is what has been recorded I presume there were thrice the infection and twice the death. This was mostly in villages due to lack of medical awareness and carelessness of people.
