Taliban wants positive relationship with India, welcomes New Delhi's contribution in Afghanistan

Security agencies give warning a day or two before attack.
Attack takes place, but not much info in media for an attack having casualties 160 or more.
Then US kills the attack planner within 2-3 days of attack.

Nothing fishy here.
Depends on what their intelligence sources are. A vehicle could probably be traced back to where it came from afterwards via recorded drone footage for example.

"Security agencies give warning a day or two before attack."

last time US released prisoners from guantanamo bay we saw some nice action for years. I bet we will see the same here as well only problem is it is very near to us.

Taliban wants IS out most probably so does every one. They are bigger threat.
And Taliban's ideology doesn't match with IS. Both are from different sects.
This taliban does not like ISIS is not ideological its just turf war.

US thinks they can play ISIS vs taliban but the problem with thugs is they might come to an understanding.
There is nothing which prevents taliban from pledging allegiance to global caliphate scheme of ISIS as they did before.

Taliban is Deobandi ISKP is wahhabist. Not gonna happen. And ISIS is a pawn used by U.S don't expect them to do much than being a distraction for legitimising the Taliban. The Doha deal has a lot more than what meets the eye..

They all have one aim convert every one , establish caliphate or kill them.
This deobandi, barelvi, jamaati.....etc are just various shades of the same color. When they have no opposition they fight each other for influence & power like any groups would do. If US says they will not leave afghanistan then all the animals will jump to form one group immediately.

US thinks they can split these groups & pit against each other. At this rate I bet by 2030-40 US would be gone from asia altogether kicked out by radical groups in middle east & chinese in the east.

You think the US is playing ISIS? Get real, it's just fundamental extremists being fundamentally extreme. The Taliban and ISIS deserve each other.

Mobile phone chatter, assets on the ground who only know half the story....

let them face each other , both are devils. Later there will be differences in taliban itself. And then you thrash one of them. Affterwards you thrash the remaining one. It's a slow process but that's how you control this cult.

And US is not leaving anywhere they can launch drone strikes from Qatar.

ISIS is everywhere, the US has nothing to do with it. ISIS is basically a new home for Bin Laden's folk.

ISIS are much more ideologically different than bin-laden folks. They are far more radical to the point they are more radical than islamic fundamentalist..

Indian Envoy to Qatar Meets Top Taliban Leader; Safe Return of Stranded Indians, Terrorism Topped Agenda

The Taliban once again assured India that its concerns regarding “anti-Indian” activities and terrorism would all be positively addressed, at a meeting between the two parties at the request of the Taliban on Tuesday. Ambassador of India to Qatar Deepak Mittal met Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, the head of the military group’s political office in Doha, at the Indian embassy there.

According to press statement from the ministry of external affairs, the two discussed safety, security and the early return of Indian nationals stranded in Afghanistan. Mittal also spoke about travel of Afghan nationals, especially minorities, who wished to visit to India.

He, however, raised India’s concerns that “Afghanistan’s soil should not be used for anti-Indian activities and terrorism” in any manner, the press release stated.

To this, Stanikzai assured the ambassador that these issues would be positively addressed. After reaching out to India to retain its diplomatic presence in Afghanistan recently, the Taliban leader has also highlighted political, economic and cultural ties with India and expressed an interest in maintaining them.

In an exclusive interview to CNN-News18 a few days ago, Taliban spokesperson Suhail Shaheen also talked about India’s investments in Afghanistan and said India should be allowed to complete under-development projects. Over the past 20 years, India has invested $3 billion in development projects, offered scholarships to Afghan students, and helped construct the parliament building at a cost of $90 million.

Pakistan will laugh on this. Afghanistan is now unofficially Pakistani Region on West (PRW)
They already are laughing. The question is if Taliban will attack Pakistan once the situation at Kabul has stabilized and the government is established..

If US wants, because the deal has been done with the US/Nato. And US is not far they have given message that they can hit with drone.
To control Pakistan India have to speak to Saudi Arab and US.

Not all Bin Laden's folk think/thought alike, just as not all Taliban folk think alike. Some are literally bored teens, disaffected youth etc. others religious hardliners and some just in it for the money. They aren't in any way homogeneous.

Ever heard of the quote, birds of same feather flock to together. They say different things but have the same goal. You can obviously categorize them according to your whims & fancies like shia, sunni, moderate, conservative, liberal.. ....etc for your convenience but the end result is same.

" Some are literally bored teens, disaffected youth etc. others religious hardliners and some just in it for the money. They aren't in any way homogeneous."

Seriously this is most dangerous assumption ppl in west can have and treat it just as another passing socio-economic problem. It is like saying if the monkeys had bananas instead of AK-47 they would have behaved well.

These ppl havent been like this for decade or two but for centuries together. If money could solve the problem then countries like SA should have been beacons of human rights instead of being primitive fanatics.
