People's Republic of Bangladesh - News and Developments

When WB Hindus don't want to be saved and keep electing that CM who herself is a WB Hindu then why should others come and save them from their fate? Let them deal with it. Its a disaster of their own making.

Btw entire world saw the so called 0.5 front in actual physical action in 2002, the same scenario will extend across the entire country minus perhaps Kerala and WB where it will be a one sided massacre and the side being massacred aren't us. If you guys think these internal elements pose even a modicum of threat infront of the CRPF, CISF not to mention the half lunatic genocidal ppl in VHP Bajrang Dal then take some pills honestly.

My IPS relative in CRPF took me to what he called a "medium" sized armory in the middle of nowhere in South India and there had to be something like 200 AK 47s, AK 203s among other weapons. @_Anonymous_ honestly what do you think these weapons are for? Warming their holders? I seriously dont understand how you guys think this "0.5 front" poses a real threat other than a few bomb blasts here and there. We LITERALLY have an entire internal army of 2 million people but somehow this 0.5 front living in slums is going to cause a civil war!!!
I'd written sometime back on the difference between an unrest , a riot , civil disturbance which is usually prolonged like what we're seeing in Manipur , an insurgency / LIC & a civil war .

What we saw in Kashmir & prior to that in Punjab was somewhere between an insurgency / Low Intensity Conflict ( LIC ) & a Civil War . Check for the number of troops we deployed there , the costs / year , the fatalities leave alone the casualties & the duration of the insurgency.

For perspective we've still a considerable number of troops deployed in Kashmir to keep the peace besides the state police there & the armed forces patrolling the border along with CAPFs.

Besides Punjab & J&K are states with relatively low populations as compared to WB or even Assam & Kerala . In J&K too the insurgency was mostly confined to the Valley. That's 10 districts in the Kashmir Division which had a population of ~ 7 million in 2011 .

The insurgency broke out more than 2 decades earlier where the population would've been much less. Yet look at the resources we had to deploy to control & suppress it . It's still WiP - Work in Progress.

There was a report by TISS out a couple of days ago which reported the M population in Mumbai would be > 30% in 2050. Here's what I posted in another forum.

Posting this here coz a good deal of those Muslims would be malaun lungi sub humans from BD.

In addition to that , you've internal migration of Muslims to urban areas plus a higher TFR than the national average.

And this is true not just of Mumbai but all metropolises in India . Now consider the inter mixing between these two groups & you will understand why if we move against BD or even attempt population transfer from the NE & WB , the resulting unrest won't remain restricted to those areas but will be a nation wide phenomenon.

As per the last census in 2011 , M population was ~ 15% . Add 2% for undercounting / margin of error which makes it 17% .

As on December 2025 , the official population which was ~ 15 ought to be at least 18-19 % . Add 2-3 % to it & you come to 20-23% of the population. And that's in 2025.

If you check urban M population tends to be higher than rural areas by a few percentage points. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if M population in Mumbai municipality is ~ 22-24% already.

Add to that the plummeting TFR of the H & the above replacement rate TFR of the M & that scenario isn't far fetched . In fact I'm of the view M population should touch 30% by 2040 .

The H population in that survey is suspect. It should be > 60% at the minimum by 2050.

You just had the bursting of a few modules of white collar terrorists a few months ago where the scale of what was planned was mind boggling including the Ricin attack. Those were not more than 2-3 dozen people.

The M population today in India including the illegal immigrants here would be close to 250 million. And their TFR is well above replacement rates as opposed to the H TFR which is already ~ 1.9 , well below the replacement rate of 2.1 & falling rapidly. Check out what it is in Kerala.

And you think a civil war will be contained by a CAPF with an armoury of some few hundred rifles ? I don't think you've understood the gravity of the problem especially since the Muslims of the sub continent are a very enthusiastic & over confident lot & our lot is usually caught in paralysis by analysis.

And you're underestimating the 0.5 front. It's not M population with weapons. It's the network, whole ecosystem which is not limited to lungis and common person on ground.

The barkha, arfa, leftist, people holding position with ability to influence young minds, policies..

A lot of people who are advocating for the first strike by India are likely to be disappointed. I believe the probability of that has reduced substantially (it was already low) post the return of the BNP Boss. The political climate will continue to be volatile and a lot of international players are simply waiting to see how things turn out. However, BD is a source of a lot lessons for India. I hope folks will learn and imbibe these. Let's see what the new year brings for WB and Assam. People residing in both of these states should think about their political allegiances.

Post such incidents in BD, I was seeing that views for certain accounts that were spreading the details pertaining to the incident (blatant lies) spiked. These are repeat offenders and yet these accounts continue to remain unblocked in India. Some were blocked post Sindoor and were later unblocked. The absurdity of management of such issues by I&B is perplexing. The govt. has no plan on how it will handle such issues as many of these accounts are run by individuals abroad.

A concert by popular Bangladeshi singer James was cancelled in Faridpur, around 120 km from Dhaka, on Friday night after a mob attacked the venue amid continuing unrest in Bangladesh, leaving around 20 people injured, according to local reports.

Two days after Bangladesh’s National Security Adviser (NSA) Khalilur Rahman returned from a five-day visit to the UAE and US, the Mohammad Yunus-led interim government today said it could consider reconciliation with the Awami League if the party apologised for its misrule.

Even as doubts persist on the Yunus regime’s willingness, not to speak of the Jamaat-e-Islami and its ally National Citizens’ Party’s ability to derail the electoral process, to conduct the February 12 polls, the Bangladesh Chief Adviser’s statement today has caught the attention of both the Awami League and the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

Ever since the arrival in Bangladesh of BNP’s then acting Chairman Tarique Rahman on December 25, 2025, the party has taken a plunge into the electoral process with multiple leaders speaking out against the Jamaat-e-Islami which seeks to pose a challenge to the former at the hustings.

This is not the first time that Yunus has sought a public apology from Awami League and its leader Sheikh Hasina who is in exile in India.

The western media, indian leftists their stooges and their manipulation to paint everything India first in bad light. As if his very own outlet is not owned by former world's richest and current 4th richest man. The Gall.

Bangladesh made it clear that they will not be travelling to India for the T20 World Cup 2026 and it can mean that they will be replaced by Scotland in the competition. Bangladesh requested the International Cricket Council (ICC) to shift their matches from India to Sri Lanka citing 'security concerns'. However, the ICC made it clear that no changes will be made to World Cup schedule and because of Bangladesh's stance, it is most likely that they will not take part in the competition. Besides the cricketing setback, missing the T20 World Cup will also result in massive financial setback for the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and some reports claimed that it can amount to almost 60 per cent of their annual income.

If the GoI continues with a "soft power" approach towards Bangladesh, then it hasn't understood the addictive power of poisonous political Islam. India will lose West Bengal and Assam. Just look at where the ISI infested Jamat majorities are concentrated:

The Bangladesh Nationalist party, led by Tarique Rahman, has won a sweeping victory in the country’s first election since a gen Z uprising toppled the autocratic regime of Sheikh Hasina.

Results from the election commission confirmed the BNP alliance had won 212 seats, returning the party to power after 20 years, while the rival alliance, led by the Islamist party Jamaat-e-Islami, won 77 seats.

The vote had been seen as the first free and fair election held in Bangladesh for almost two decades and came after a period of significant political upheaval in the country.

Rahman, who returned to Bangladesh in December after 17 years of exile in London, is poised to become the country’s next prime minister.

He comes from one of Bangladesh’s most powerful political dynasties; the son of the former prime minister Khaleda Zia and the former president Ziaur Rahman, who was assassinated in 1981.

The US President also underscored defence collaboration, stating, “I also hope you will take decisive action to complete the routine defense agreements that would finally give your military access to high-end, American-made equipment – the best in the world!”

NCP Convenor and opposition party Chief Whip Nahid Islam has alleged that the BNP has colluded with India and the Awami League during the 13th national election to ensure their victory.

Speaking at a press conference at the party's central office in Banglamotor of the capital today (19 February), he warned that people will resist if efforts are made to further rehabilitate AL for its vote bank.

"The government will be held responsible if they fail to tackle the AL, and even if it (rehabilitation) continues, we will call for political resistance," he said, adding that AL offices are being reopened in districts and upazilas across the country despite ongoing trials.

Regarding the election, Nahid said his party is disappointed with the election results as it has been "questionable" due to manipulation.

"We took an oath in the interest of national stability. But on the first day, the government deceived everyone over the process," he alleged, adding that the referendum is closely linked to the election.

"Through misinterpretation and by misquoting the Constitution, reforms have been undermined. The aspiration to build a new Bangladesh and the referendum have been disregarded," alleged the NCP leader, who was elected from the Dhaka-12 constituency.

Nahid expressed optimism that the authorities (BNP) would take the oath soon and initiate reforms towards the fundamental structure of the Constitution.

He also urged the government to arrange oath-taking for members of the Constitutional Reform Council before convening the parliamentary session
