Seems very plausible. This will hit two targets in one shot.1. They will get Americans out of Afghanistan and install a puppet regime there and 2. With the help of Haqqani group they will handle the native Pashtun population of waziristan.
Earlier they tried the same thing with afghan taliban but got TTP in return. But looks like they are willing to take the risk again to settle the “Pashtun problem” permanently

Usual Afghan refugees excuse.. The child your army killed last day is not from Afghanistan, he is the son of PTM leader Mullah Behram's sister, from Waziristan

you take their land and we take their refugees just like you ppl did in kashmir. What else can we expect from pakistan any way?
