This is a welcomed change.
The entire arsenal of Pakistani Cruise missiles so far was under strategic command. Getting authorisation from them for a weapon launch needs lengthy process.

Thats why this new rocket force was created and will have a new series of weapons. Including this one.

In May 2025, Pakistan didn't launch any Cruise missiles due to above reason.

With new rocket force , this will be possible in the next indian elections, oh I mean next India Pakistan conflict

In case you missed the news, Pakistan recently tested their "SCALP killer" - GIDS Taimoor ALCM. Not sure why the "Pakistan Tax Bar Association", a website dedicated to Pakistani govt. tax and finance related topics has a proud article about it, but I suppose it's as good a place as any for the Awam to be informed how their taxes are being spent while they eat grass:

Now Trishul-Trident had a very interesting article a couple years back on the origin of the GIDS products. The GIDS Taimoor in particular is a green-painted Tengden ALCM:

Back when China made a pretense of respecting the MTCR, the missile was restricted (at least according to the brochure) to 290km:

The product seems to have disappeared from Tengden's website and correspondingly the range seems to be up to 600km.

In all likelihood, this is an improved version of their Raad ALCM with a new TJ/TF engine, bigger fuel tank, refined airframe, and guidance. The Raad itself was reportedly derived from the Denel MUPSOW/Torgos ALCM.

Very interesting. The original version of the Taimoor was a Tengden clone with an X-tail instead of a Y-tail:

But the newer version looks much more like they took the body/air intake of the original Denel Torgos with the seeker you showed:

Looks like one of the outcomes of Op Sindoor for Pakistan was "Friendship ended with China MIL. Now South Africa MIL is my new best friend".

BTW, one of the intended targets for these things appears to be the new dams being constructed post IWT abrogation.

They've been collaborating with the South Africans on air-launched weapons for decades now. They initially acquired Denel Raptor family PGMs and rebadged them as H2 and H4 (as reported by Prasun and others)

They were also planning to buy Denel A-Darter BVRAAMs and produce them under license. But they apparently switched to the SD-10A instead, after the PLAAF rejected it in favor of the PL-15.

More than RSA , it's the Turks we ought to keep our eyes open for. They've come up with a complete inventory of missiles & other armaments , most of which will find their way to Paxtan.

I guess in the absence of imports from the west & China off loading export quality stuff , Turkey is the flavour of the season.

Looks like the Turks have also taken a page out of the Pak handbook. This SOM ALCM appears to be a Denel clone too:

IAF has solid intel about PAF's future plans. Even before last year's skirmish, IAF knew that PAF will receive 40 J-35s starting from either 2026 end or sometime in 2027. That's why both Su-57 & F-35 participated in last year's Aero India and post our Ops, in June 2025, we chose Su-57 as our interim 5th gen stealth fighter before AMCA induction somewhere in mid 2030s.

Su 57 induction and operationalisation will take a lot of time

The main thing is that IAF has to make plans for taking down J 35

So they can integrate an Anti Stealth Radar with S 400 radar and kill chain
OR
If Russians can show how to use S 400 Radar for Detecting J 35

Secondly we will have to aggressively attack their Bases like we did last year

And force them to remain grounded

The next war is going to be one Hell of a War , absolutely no holds barred

The next war will be fought now not when PAF inducts the J-35 or PN the Hangor class of submarines.

The idea is to lay waste to their war fighting machinery such that their bases are smoked & so is their top brass & when those platforms arrive , Paxtan would have to build up their infrastructure from scratch to house them.

If we don't do this now & keep twiddling our thumbs , we'd have hell to pay for when the Chinese come calling towards the end of this decade.

We're not just dependent on Russia and S-400 to hunt down VLO targets. Read my posts in the India vs China thread. There I have talked in length regarding how IAF plans to take down PLAAF VLO jets like J-20. DRDO is developing a whole "anti-stealth" grid for IAF which shall consist of our Passive Coherent Location Radar(PCLR), UHF, VHF, S-Band and X-Band radars all fused together through an AI-backed software algorithm which will detect and track a pure stealth shaped enemy plane like say a Flying Wing shaped bomber from 300-400kms away.

Rest assured that IAF is not too worried about J-35A. But a beggar nation like Pak which is surviving through begging bowl and alms having 5th gen fighter before world's 4th largest and powerful AF is a problem of a different kind, lol;)

As the first export customer, the PAF is likely getting the J-35 at friendship prices. (on the lines of the J-10C deal).

The Chinese get to test their gear in real world conditions while the PAF gets its bragging rights. It is a win-win for both.

Hope RAW/DIA has managed to scope out this bird via elint.
