Wrong. They just rejected the US m109a6 and chose to purchase more Himars rocket launchersThey miscalculated the need for an army, thinking defeating the PLAN before landfall will be sufficient. Now they have decided to focus on their army.

Yo @LX1111, no reply with your 731 IQ wisdom?see the NYTimes article of 1975 I shared, how Pak paid French for Mirages which themselves were bought on deferred payment terms but they payed french with the help of mohammedan countries donating aid,
So what might have happened in the J10CE deal with PRC is, that the first installment might be provided by gulf countries, which might not even come under the agreement between Pak and PRC.
BTW, what about VT4s, do you have any info how they financed it?

That's a old Foto from 2021....
They have been moved to Passni Airfield @ 25°18'02"N 63°21'13"E.They're so scared of S-400 that they've moved their F-16s to some Western base(Gwadar!!) as per some sources and here are some who think that S-400 is useless, lol.

It's a double edged sword.This was on Jane's Defense.

If true not only will IAF be way behind the PLAAF but on par or slightly less capable than PAF.
But hey Rafale which is 0-3 (claim) but definitely 0-1 in air combat against an export 4th gen J-10 is more than capable to handle FC-31's, right?
Time to start getting rid of the older planes. I think PAF would be more than fine with fleet of J-10's, JF-17's, FC-31's and F-16's. Now you'd need 2-3 more squadrons of J-10's and FC-31's. That's 3 fighter fleets of Chinese origin sharing the same weapon systems maybe FC-31 having same avionics as J-10?It's a double edged sword.
On one hand it's a stealth aircraft with one of the longest range air to Air missiles in existence.
On the other hand induction of so many different types of platforms in a relatively small air force may create integration, logistics and compatibility issues.
Was known for quite sometime but, we won't be getting the Su 57 or F 35 either way. We'll be looking for the CATS project and things like VHF radars and other anti-stealth tech. You've got to bite the bullet to get things ready indigenously. This was on Jane's Defense.

Yeah but I don't think we thought it would be this soon if Jane's Defense article is true which I'm iffy. The only positive for IAF is the low quantities of J-10s and FC-31's especially when you add mission capable rate of these fighters. Was known for quite sometime but, we won't be getting the Su 57 or F 35 either way. Nice attempt at a sales pitch for the F-35 but it isn't happening sweetie.Yeah but I don't think we thought it would be this soon if Jane's Defense article is true which I'm iffy. Lets say there's another air conflict in six years by that time the PAF will be more capable by a huge margin. FC-31's, J-10's and lets not forget more JF-17's will be in block 3 configuration. The wild card will be their F-16 fleet will some be upgraded to blk 70 standard? IAF is not looking good so far.
We'll have to continue with the Tejas production and the astra mk 3 is also nearing production so should fast-track that. The Su 30 upgrades should be fast-tracked as we've got the AESA radar, MAWS developed for it afaik. We'll have to invest more on indigenous anti stealth option for now, I don't think any jet procurement will really change the landscape tbh.Yeah but I don't think we thought it would be this soon if Jane's Defense article is true which I'm iffy. There is no official statement like that and I don't think thats the case either wayWe need Su-57 MKIs to take on these. IAF is also hopeful that Su-30UPG. with Virupaksha + Gandiva combo shall take down these PAF J-35s.
