You are completely wrong on this. Tamil predates Sanskrit and Sanskrit has evolved by mixing many languages spoken at that time called Prakrit languages. If there is any language which belongs to all the languages of India including Tamil, it is Sanskrit.
He said 'mother of all language' not grand child.:p

With your logic most modern language which includes every language ever existed should get the title not 'outdated' Sanskrit.

The fetishism with Sanskrit comes from its history. It was used restrict access to texts like vedas. So that brahmins can forever have the monopoly. All the current advocates would be brahmins only. A language which has no real utility in the real world.

The Dravidian itself is not a proper word of any language in India. It was coined in 18th century by a european. Dravid is the proper word which simply means “the land with water on three sides”. So from Gujrat to Tuticorin to Vizag to Bengal is Dravid. Now tell me if Bengali, Oriya, Marathi, Chattisgarhi and Gujrati are also dravidian languages?
The actual term Dravidian was first employed by Robert A. Caldwell in 1856, who introduced the Sanskrit word dravida into his epoch-making "A Comparative Grammar of the Dravidian or South Indian Family of Languages". This word has been lapped up by idots in south to call themselves original Indians and all North Indians as invaders. The British used this very term to create a north south divide which persists till this day.
So?

India comes from persian name of the people after the 'indus' river. Does that make everyone using india an idiot?

**** north india should recognise tamil as the oldest language and learn it with Sanskrit for a change. For the sake of 'National integrity'.

This whole NEP thing is a jumla from Modi Sarkar. After having a cursory look, I don't see anything beneficial except the choice to exit a B.tech degree. Instead of removing all the unnecessary subjects that are taught in engineering courses and improving and making the course more tough, mathematical(less theoretical) ,practical and job oriented, they are trying to increase the useless subjects which just increase the Course volume and stress and provide ZERO benefit. I also don't see any change in the M.Tech or PHD curriculum, They could have atleast tried to tailor the courses in the areas of Material Sciences, Quantum Computing , Machine Learning, Aeronautics e.t.c. in such a way that the students passed can be directly absorbed by DRDO/ISRO or other research institutes.

Also all this hype of AI based exam checking just exposes the incompetency and idiocy of the members of the panel who have drafted this framework, they have absolutely no idea of what they are doing.

Special education zones is another socialist drama to spend tax money like MNREGA which will give zero benefit, instead of doing that Government should have tried to improve the infrastructure of newly created AIIMS/IIT's /NIT's and IIIIT's.
Current HRD minister is a poet FFS

Sanskrit may yet find takers on a pan Indian basis whereas I doubt Tamil would find any outside TN.

Yes

I have great regards for tamil culture and tradition and consider it my own same as an tamil but the fact remains the so called Dravidian proponents are nothing but abrahamical converts , it's an old trick used all over the world by the abrahamics to usurp local culture and assimilate it after purging it off its original religion and traditions/culture.

Just like there is no place in south india for Sanskrit.

Lol coming to south India

Ironically Telegu,Kannada and Malayalam incorporated sanskrit words as much as they incorporated tamil.

And even more ironically chances are they will not accept tamil as a national language for evident reasons and will prefer sanskrit compared to it.

Reality is except for tamil nadu , no other states will accept tamil as national language . Sanskrit will atleast garner support in north west east and even south .

Aww..
The who complained cant stop name calling :censored:

Aww sorry for showing you the mirror

No one claims tamil is national language. Sanskrit died long before you were born. Stop living in a dreamland.

By showing your hypocrisy ?

Lol that's your comeback after I punctured your claim of that sanskrit has no place in South India where ironically majority of the local languages incorporates sanskrit .

Sanskrit has always been alive and will flourish again

Reality is confused for hypocrisy by the likes of hypocrites like you very easily .

Sanskrit is the Most Useless language in this world

I learnt it for 3 years in school , what a waste of time and energy
Sanskrit is for sanskaari people. For others there's Prakrit. On a different note many students opt for Sanskrit for it's easier to score higher marks in it which in turn boosts your aggregate percentage.

Just like there is no place in south india for Sanskrit.
Says who? The world doesn't begin or end in TN & Kerala. If anything, events in post independent India have proven them to be outlier states . The very fact that Dravidian Chauvinists are ruling the former & Communists the latter is ample proof of it.

In spite of his best efforts EV never found traction for his Dravid Nadu outside TN & once Annadurai & his companions broke off from the DK to form the DMK that was the end of DK's secessionist agenda & life.

Malayalam itself is an amalgamation of Tamil & Sanskrit with more of the latter.

You are an idiot here. Hindu comes from Persia and Indie comes from Greeks. Bharat is how we were even before Alexander came to India.

Good that you called it waste of time. The finest mathematics and science for you was waste of time. BTW, what do you do for your living?

No one claims tamil is national language. Sanskrit died long before you were born. Stop living in a dreamland.
Whoa, If sanskrit died long back, how come I and family is alive who read and speak it and also so many million Brahmins? Get your brain checked. You need help. You seem to be a rice bag convert. Ask your parents how many rice bags they got to change their religion and nationality to Vatican.

This kind of fight is why English will remain the common language of India for a long while...
Less than 10% of Indians are proficient in English. It's more of a bridge language than lingua franca. For the latter there's Hindi where more than 40% of the population is proficient in it to varying degrees.

It would be cool if engineering courses to did a credit system and prerequisites. Life would become easy. In my engineering days I would have loved to have take a few more electronics/electrical classes if had the right guidance.

With large course pools, we can have an excellent engineering syllabus. One of my professors in grad schools would tell us about his coursework, his course in West Germany was called Engineering, courses from mechanical, civil, electrical, electronics all combined. That would be an excellent course work to do making a well-rounded practical engineer.

Even less can solve a differential equation and thats the root of all evil for us. Poor technical skills in "educated" leading to a lack of innovation . We really should pay more attention to calculus. This language debate imo is quite useless.

Mastering a language to some degree of proficiency also leads to a better degree of proficiency in Mathematics & scientific calculations, which is why some vernacular schools teach science & mathematics in English after Class 5 or Class 8 .

Out biggest handicap is lack of independent surveys to indicate the efficacy of such moves. Why, I haven't even come across Government surveys on these and many other areas in our education system.

Whether the new policy leads to a deviation in our tradition of learn by rote into a more analytical education as western systems such as IB lay emphasis on remains to be seen.

These so called self styled Dravidians are the main reason for reservations all across India. these Dravidians have created a system of beggers who loot those who are qualified. Periyaar-the biggest womaniser of ALL and raped his own caste women is God for them. Only in TN we have political parties who call themselves Dravidian. If Dravidian was about south India and original Indians, why dont we have Dravidian parties in rest of south India? Tamils are a lost case.

In the past decade, teaching has become a profession, while it used to be a vocation. It was commonplace to take knocks to the head and knuckles or get your a$$ whooped, all a part of the teachers unwavering efforts till the message got across. On the result day, the students got high-fives and plenty of praises. I had evil, but potent Mallu teachers for math and science - Profs Varghese, Nair, BinuMatthai and MadhuGopalan still give me nightmares.
