Indian Political Discussion

Puri can go or stay, but this Pradhan must go. He is a black spot. Due to him BJP has high chances of losing elections. He ruined 7years as min of petroleum and then now as education minister created scams.

BJP should have moved him out earlier. Before the protest even began. Anyways in three years people will forget him. More over that new secretary Education should be put under departmental enquiriy, how his family got Rs.1.16 crore subsidy, and Bhagirath Choudhary should be questioned to he also received Rs.99 lakh subsidy to grow cucumbers.

On the other forum I have been constatly arguing about filteration process which BJP requires. There are lots of arrogant, incompetent and corrupt ministers in BJP now which will make sure BJP loses elections

Another political appointee taking this nation towards hell. He is Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution of India. Most of the ministerial seats are taken up by political appointees who have no real expertise to hold their positions. People are rightly fed up with this regime. Modi's days are numbered.

Its interesting how people were cheering when Muslims were targeted. But now that they are being targeted with same cruelty, realisation is dawning upon them that autocracy is not good. :ROFLMAO:

BJP was already below mark and couldn't form governement without Nitish Kumar and C Naidu. No idea what will happen now. All of the blame games to arrogant people in BJP who are themselves not interested in winning 2029. They have made good money and now times up. BJP will require filtration. Don't they have any good men in their cadre to become ministers or what?

UP Elections will show how NDA does in 2029.

Modi & his cabinet are being memed to hell .:ROFLMAO: Now, I just hope Nitin Gadbadi opens his mouth to say something nonsensical & he'll be gone too.

Brutal. Social Media was the instrument that brought Modi to power, it will be his undoing. UP elections wouldnt necessarily reflect the national mood which has been souring for some time now.

On the other forum I was banned while debating with Prasad in March, that something big is coming, Dharmendra Pradhan should be asked to step down before it is too late or given some other portfolio when UGC issue lighted up. And in May it happened. Almost every one in BJP knew that he is a big risk.

But may be the top leadership was adamant that the minister is an important tool for Orissa elections. Oh well now what, Marching party??

Now the next halla will be on Hindu Personal Laws. The BJP supporters are pissed and they will demand this in some indirect way.

BJP government is obsessed on appeasing people who spit on them.

They want to turn them to their side may be, the only so called Masterstroke pichwade mein, just like they did with shiv sena, break them may be. But this is Amit Shah's policy if he is able to break CJP one flank to counter INDIA bloc.

South Asia has since furnished three test cases within four years. In Bangladesh, a quota reform agitation that the Supreme Court had substantially conceded did not subside but intensified, and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina fled to exile on August 5, 2024. She alleged that Western involvement had removed her from power through a civilian movement, although the claim was not confirmed by either her party or her family. While the allegation remains unverified, the surrounding institutional architecture is documented. One think tank primer traced two decades of United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and National Endowment for Democracy (NED) programming, routed through the International Republican Institute (IRI) and National Democratic Institute (NED), aimed at shaping Bangladesh’s political environment. It also claimed that a $29 million USAID contract intended to strengthen the country’s political landscape was subsequently criticised by the American president himself.

Sri Lanka in 2022 supplied the logistical corollary. Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s memoir records that tents, mobile toilets, and an apparently inexhaustible supply of food and drink arrived at the Galle Face encampment, and that two European ambassadors telephoned him to ensure that the protesters were not cleared. The account is self-serving, and his economic mismanagement was the proximate cause of the crisis. Yet that does not dispose of the narrower question of who financed and sustained an extended urban occupation in a country that had run out of foreign exchange.

Nepal in September 2025 compressed the model to its practical limit. A ban on 26 social media platforms produced demonstrations on September 8. Nineteen protesters were killed that day, Prime Minister K. P. Sharma Oli resigned the following morning, and the state apparatus collapsed within 48 hours. A Discord chat server with more than 100,000 members then conducted a poll involving five candidates for interim prime minister, after which Sushila Karki was appointed on September 12. The succession of a sovereign government was therefore mediated through a foreign-owned platform accountable to no Nepali institution. The Rastriya Swatantra Party, identified by the army chief as a stakeholder in the movement, subsequently won the March 2026 election outright.

The recent Delhi agitation reproduces elements of this architecture with unusual clarity. The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) was founded on May 16 by Abhijeet Dipke, a 30-year-old public relations postgraduate at Boston University who had previously spent three years on the Aam Aadmi Party’s social media team, including its diaspora outreach desk. The organisation was created within 24 hours of the Chief Justice’s remark comparing unemployed youth to “cockroaches.”

Dipke initiated and initially directed the movement from Boston. His early appearances included interviews with foreign media outlets, which gave the agitation an international profile and presented it as a matter of concern extending beyond India’s domestic political sphere. This considerably increased its visibility and appeal, particularly among sections of the diaspora and digitally connected youth. Although the movement initially emphasised non-violence, its mobilisation subsequently shifted towards confrontation and provocation, eventually challenging the authority of the state and its institutional machinery.

The party registered a hundred thousand members in 72 hours, crossed 25 million Instagram followers, more than double the ruling party’s, and resonated early among the Indian diaspora. Its founder directed a so-called national movement from Massachusetts before arriving for the first Jantar Mantar demonstration on June 6, after which left parties’ student organizations attached themselves to a platform they had not even built. Sonam Wangchuk’s 26-day hunger strike then supplied the indispensable sacrificial figure, converting a legitimate examination paper leak grievance into a full-blown government-toppling movement. As a result, several reports started to emerge in mainstream and social media claiming that funds and supplies for the CJP protest were arranged from abroad, an allegation that is unproven, but raises suspicions based on a worldwide pattern that has emerged in the last two decades.

As the agitation expanded, claims began circulating in mainstream and social media that money, logistical support, and supplies for the Cockroach Janta Party protests had been arranged from abroad. These allegations remain unproven and should not be treated as established fact. Nevertheless, they generated suspicion because the movement appeared to follow features observed in comparable mobilisations over the preceding two decades: offshore leadership and amplification, rapid digital expansion, diaspora participation, foreign media engagement, decentralised organisational structures, sustained protest logistics, and a gradual transition from issue-based demands to confrontation with the state.

The Indian opposition also latched on to the CJP protest with an objective to embarrass the government and create negative sentiments against the ruling party even among its own followers. An established template of portraying the law and enforcement agencies as oppressors was used to attract attention of international Left-Liberal media who is opposed to rise of India under the current political leadership. Given the proximity of the protest to Indian Parliament, currently in session, the protestors were virtually 500 meters from the hallowed premises when the agencies used cane charge and tear gas to contain the unrest. Clearly the protestors were more organized as the law enforcement and security agencies did not anticipate the level of mobilization, resulting in chaos in the heart of the Capital. The success of Parliament march spawned similar protests in some other state capitals, forcing the government to cut their losses and concede to the main demand.

The conclusion is not that these grievances were fabricated. The NEET leak occurred, Nepali corruption was systemic, and Sri Lanka’s default was real. What differs is the conversion mechanism. Every state generates grievance; what determines whether grievance becomes governmental failure is access to offshore organisational infrastructure, diaspora amplification, platform architecture beyond domestic regulatory reach, and an international press corps carrying settled preferences about which governments merit pressure. That apparatus exists, is distributed unevenly among states, and its effects are not neutral.

Treating each episode as entirely spontaneous guarantees repeated surprise, while treating every agitation as foreign-directed guarantees precisely the escalation that such a template requires in order to succeed. The record from Kyiv in 2004 to Jantar Mantar in 2026 suggests that the apparatus does not manufacture anger. It shortens the interval between anger and institutional collapse.

15 August Speech 2026 Live: As India celebrates its 80th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addresses the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort.

CJP is a group of privileged kids whose parents have earned enough for them that they have no requirement to work. It was raised outside India, just like Indian Against Corruption. And then leftists joined them.

CJP is the b team of AAP. Dipke has been a AAP member since 2012. The commonality is clear. The way kejriwal was promoted by the anti BJP cabal after the anti corruption protest is exactly similar to the way dipke and Saurav Das are promoted following the neet protest. The anti Modi animals are out of the holes.

The money is coming from abroad using various routes. ( CIA ).

The soros cabal has found a new ally in the US administration when it comes to stopping the rise of India under Modiji.

Did you guys hear about the US special forces guy killed in Dhaka hotel in a joint operation by Indian and Russian intelligence? He was putting together a plan to assassinate Modiji.

In 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Congress won 206 seats — a 61-seat jump from 2004.
Analysts credited MNREGA, the nuclear deal, etc.
What no one pointed out was the new electoral map 🧵

India's constituencies were redrawn in 2008 — the first full delimitation since 1973.
The 2009 election was the first fought on that new map.
SC reservations were rotated, vote-banks dissolved, new seats created in 'Congress-friendly' belts.

In Rajasthan, 11 seats BJP had held in both 1999 and 2004 flipped to Congress.
Bharatpur: 3-time BJP incumbent barred — seat declared SC-reserved.
Pali: 3 ACs converted to SC-reserved. Congress won by 1.96 lakh votes.

Congress's SC reserved seat tally: 17 in 2004 → 33 in 2009.
ST reserved seats: 14 → 21.
In Rajasthan, Congress won no SC seat in 2004. It won 3 of 4 in 2009.

In Mumbai, a 32-lakh voter Shiv Sena stronghold held since 1989 was split into 4 seats. Congress and allies took 3 of them.
In UP, 3 brand-new constituencies were created. Congress won all 3 on the first attempt.

Congress helped defeat BJP's delimitation bill — calling it political manipulation.
The same party that drew the last map, and gained 61 seats on it.

The recent rise in crude oil flows out of the Strait of Hormuz isn’t solving the world’s most pressing fuel problem—the diesel crunch and record diesel prices that start to feed into the wider economy.

While Middle East crude oil flows are nearing pre-war levels, global diesel supply is much lower due to refinery constraints in the Middle East and Russia that the rest of the world cannot offset.

The diesel squeeze hiked wholesale and retail prices to record highs in the middle of September as the market realized that crude oil supply does not equal refined product supply, and demand for middle distillates started rising seasonally from agriculture, road freight, and the coming winter.

There isn’t an easy fix to the crunch, neither the G7’s promised release of 100 million barrels of oil, including diesel, nor the controversial Trump-Putin deal for the U.S. to buy Russian diesel.

The global diesel squeeze will end when markets return to some kind of normality, which is months away, at best, and certainly not before the U.S. midterm elections on November 3.

The current crunch in the diesel and gasoil markets is set to extend into the middle of next year, the International Energy Agency (IEA) said in its monthly Oil Market Report published this week.

Counter-seasonally, gasoil and diesel markets tightened in the third quarter of 2026, amid prolonged disruptions in refinery operations in the Middle East and Russia, the agency noted.

“Combined with much heavier-than-normal inventory declines in 2Q26, this has deprived global gasoil markets of crucial stock cover ahead of the peak winter demand season,” the IEA said.

But the relatively price-inelastic diesel demand has remained strong, supported by government measures aimed at easing the impact of high prices on consumers, according to the agency.

“Falling inventories, soaring cracks, and steepening levels of backwardation have signalled the need for additional supplies,” the IEA said.

Even if refinery throughput recovers rapidly into the end of this year, gasoil supply will fall short of meeting demand this quarter, “suggesting that the replenishment of lost inventories, outside of typical seasonal fluctuations, is unlikely before 2H27.”

Global diesel exports fell by 700,000 barrels per day (bpd) in September from a year earlier, as a 1.3-million-bpd loss from Russia and the Middle East was only partly offset by higher supply from other sources, the IEA has estimated.

“As the Iran war manifests itself through restricted product availability, soaring fuel prices and a deteriorating economic outlook, diesel will register 25%” of the expected 2.6 million bpd decline in global oil demand this year, the agency noted.

Global diesel prices have eased from the all-time highs of more than $200 a barrel reached in September, but diesel benchmarks remain nearly double the price of crude oil and their pre-crisis levels, the IEA said.
