A good initiative by GoI.
Indian media being sensationalist first pragmatic last as always.
Yesterday journalist living in Delhi for years just copy pasted a typo by ANI i.e there was a fire in Ministry of Education Office at Vikas Marg
without any verification. Vikas Marg mein to kabhi thhi hi nhi ministry.
They are long used to publishing for clicks. It is a business (running a news portal/publication). The verification bit gets lost somewhere in midst of all the "be quick" motto.

The Union Cabinet made six decisions today with a combined outlay of nearly ₹40,000 crore.
The Union Cabinet has approved a package of projects and initiatives worth ₹39,290 crore (approx $4 billion) covering aviation fuel price management, urban transport reforms and national highway infrastructure development.
Till the MCD and local Police Dept. do not take the initiative to assess conditions for themselves, such incidents will keep happening. Corruption and local malpractice will need to be rooted out by the State Govt. Saddening incident. However, there is still time to implement proper policies and enforce them regularly. I hope the Delhi Govt. listens and takes corrective actions.

Brut that claims to be an independent outlet is actually backed by a French company. Brut India is owned by CMA Media which a French media outlet.
I fail to understand how these companies create channels and outlets that claim to be independent. Not only is it not independent but happens to be owned by an intl. media company.
