And they want to fight 2 front war with these crappy munitions.

The only thing they are good at is dalali
We are not allowing IAF to procure things, DRDO will veto that. We force crapy Tejas in to theirs throat. MMRCA is stuck under red rape since last 24 years, No AWACS. etc.

Latest saga is HAL is trying to make MTA from nowhere when IAF issued tender for 80 or so examples. Now that tender also gonna die, thanks to greedy pathetic incompetent desi weapon lobby.

R 73 is made into Samar why?
What version of Akash was used?
Whats the failure rate of Spyder system we use?

----------

SAMAR is a short-range air-defence system jointly developed by the IAF's 7 Base Repair Depot (BRD) and 11 BRD in association with Indian private-sector companies Simran Flowtech Industries and Yamazuki Denki.

The system provides air defence against low-flying aerial targets with a maximum striking range of 12 km.

SAMAR employs the IAF's shelf-life-expired Russian Vympel R-73E infrared‐guided air-to-air missiles (AAMs). The AAMs are refurbished and upgraded to perform surface-to-air roles and the missiles can be launched in both single and salvo mode.

If @Hellfire says still Akash has major issues, I will take his word for it.
Just wanted to know what version is he talking about? [ Anyone knows what missile has 30 ℅ failure rate in CAG report? ]
Akash Mk1
Akash Mk1A with seeker or
Akash NG which is completely new missile developed from Astra missile.

Tejas is more advanced than all your soviet era shit.

It's hilarious that both the imported maal R73 & griffin failed but people are only blaming indigenous system, which recently got repeat orders.

Let the war break out, when the supplies get squeezed only indigenous systems will save their *censored*.

Saying this since ling back, its even better than SU 30 MKI.
But that doesn't means that it can be used against paf & its sugar dadddy china.

Telling this again, its high time to getrid each and evey Russian shit from our arsenal along with indigenous stuffs.

This is pure delusion, nothing more nothing less.
Do you think that india will be able to produce weapons? No, you cant make missiles, aircrafts, gus, howitzers, tanks, radars etc during war. These stuff required months to become a working product from scratch. Hardly you will be abke to manufacture shells & bullets.

That's how imported weapon comes to play. The OEM can supply weapons from their inventory....

CAG report cam in 2017, so you figur it out which version it will be.

Missile don't hit everything everytime. It is a known fact. Proximity fuse may not always work. That's why laser based proximity fuse is better than radar based ones.
30%, 30% of not having a hit. I thank Modiji for the first time for his inaction in 2019 post Balakot event.
