France: Teacher beheaded in Paris; Macron calls it ‘Islamist terrorist attack’

Seems to me one can do as one pleases subject to the fact that they conform to virtue signalling with narratives being first established to mould opinions & subsequently to curry favour with the majority.

Put another way were India to do this there would be a storm of protests in & outside India particularly in MSM signalling it to be another attack on minority rights. Of course that most EU states having legislated in accordance with the EUSC doesn't preclude them from taking the same jaundiced view of the MSM were India to ban halal for similar if not the same reasons.

Wonder how will UK, current haven of Islamists in Europe, react assuming BJ even contemplates such a move leave alone legislate now that UK isn't part of the EU. @BMD

Further trade with the EU will necessarily mean adherence to many of their standards. :D

While that may be the case, BJ lacks the cojones for it, Paddy. So while you may orgasm to the thought, in all likelihood , it's going to be nothing more than a wet dream for a long long time.

When has Boris given the impression of being worried about anything?

No wonder he sold you a lemon called Brexit, furthered his career & is now at the helm, prepared to run UK into the ground. To think you guys returned him to office with a landslide. What're you complaining about now?

Only you are complaining. Has the farmer kicked you out of the barn again?

But his school teacher.... I mean wife isn't.

That's an unusual relationship even by French standards. Hollande & his partner too had an unusual relationship as did Sarkozy's wife before Sarkozy if I recall right.
I think that's an exaggeration.
Pls check the number of draft FTA's UK has prepared which your foreign secretary acting more as a travelling salesman these days is peddling around the world.

I feel bad for your plight Paddy, I truly do. For a country which ruled a quarter of the world barely a century ago & on whose empire the sun wasn't to set in a 1000 years had now been reduced to this.

You may think I'm being sarcastic, but it's not so. Present imperfect, future tense.

We need to replace EU goods with cheaper sources now they're all going to be tariffed.

We'll sell them here to replace all the EU imports instead.
With Brexit, your manufacturing sector, already in shambles before even the vote on Brexit took place will disappear. What's more either Brussels or The Hague is destined to be the future financial centre of Europe & the EU. I've also heard that NHS would gradually shift part of their operations to India where minor & not so minor procedures would be undertaken. So, in few years when you'd have your quota of hernia or Prostate enlargement, fret not, it's Ganges water & the food from here to serve as good hospitality.

INFORMATION EUROPE 1 – 861 cars burned in France on New Year’s Eve
January 2, 2021

According to information collected by Europe 1, 861 cars were set on fire during the night of New Year’s Eve, a figure that is very much lower compared to 2020, where we had counted in the night of December 31 to January 1, 1,457 burnt cars. The health context and the curfew may explain this decrease.

INFO EUROPE 1861 cars were burnt in France on New Year’s Eve. This figure does not appear in the press release of the Minister of the Interior on the toll of incidents on New Year’s night. In a note addressed to the prefects, Gérald Darmanin had also expressly requested that these figures not be communicated locally “to avoid any phenomenon of competition”, wrote the minister. But according to information gathered by Europe 1, the police and gendarmerie services have identified 861 vehicles burned down on New Year’s Eve throughout the country.

This figure is down by 41% compared to the record toll of last year where 1,457 cars had burned, revealed Europe 1. It is the first time in five years that the total number of vehicles burned on New Year’s Eve reached such a threshold. It should be noted that the configuration of this New Year’s Eve was unprecedented with for the first time a curfew in effect from 8 p.m. and the presence of 100,000 police and gendarmes on the ground.

The French sure know how to enjoy New Years Eve. Wonder what's it like in NI or RoI, Paddy?! They set barnyards & wagons on fire or something. Old New Year's eve tradition, perhaps ?

Ah! So you admit all this is the doing of your kind. Yet, you quote the article to show France in bad light but neglect to mention this critical fact. Good going Paddy.
