Ummm... PPE are not counted as "pharma products" in US or India....

Umm... They HAD been selling all of these before as well. The local pharma lobby in the west is pretty strong. Once the crisis subsides, they will out-regulate Chinese suppliers. That said, Chinese components and APIs have been going into pharma and medical products since 90s. Ask Indian companies, most of them are crying that their supply chain to China is down.

What is NOT going to happen is that Chinese owned or controlled brands will dominate out of China. China will remain the back-office/factory for any forseeable future.

Well for the next 6 months others wont be selling and in the mean time they will over regulate, if not stopped.

Not in large, their quality always failed. Especially in measurement equipment, X ray machines and other precision technology and Bio Lab products. PPE are of better quality made in Vietnam, Bangladesh and South Korea.

Almost all of them. All medicines manufactured in our country depends upon cheap raw materials and APIs from China. Heck, we even get things like Pine oil from China and refine it into products. Go to Himachal and ask all the medicine and food ingredient manufacturers. Almost ALL their reagents and APIs come from China.

As far as precision products go, yes they are also manufactured in China, though designed elsewhere and QC'ed to the specification of global brands.

China is deeply entrenched in ALL supply chains.

Well may be our Indians got corrupted or had no money to buy better quality products or can't manufacture at home. But here in europe I have seen more made in vietnam PPEs. And precision and measurements products in the hospitals are either made in Singapore or Taiwan or domestic ones. No chinese product except for printers and desktops.

China is way behind Singapore when it comes to quality and precision technique. Their supply chain will break now.

Yes. I read a report in Siliguri Times claiming 10k infected on 22nd Mar. I'm trying to locate the report. Will post it here as soon as I come across it.
 
Looks like every country is taking its turn to hit peak infections and death rates, India's peak will be end of April.
