Brexit and Future of UK : Discussions

It’s all on topic. They all refer to the idea that Britain is a lame country that talks a lot.
Oh the irony. This coming from a country with less than 1/20th of the GDP/Capita and 3m malnutrition deaths per year. Not to mention fighter jet negotiations that stand to outlast 2 French presidents.

Your boss just named some islands after him.

He has the same status as the welsh radical Aneurin Bevan. In a time when Gandhi’s non violent resistance was still an experiment that needed to prove itself his unquestionable patriotism made him look for other solutions.

A fraction of the deaths before independence

In the name of FoE, are we expected to put up with such low quality posts which insult our collective intelligence not to mention the sheer dishonesty inherent in these posts or isn't this what trolling is all or being off topic considering the topic of the thread.
Intellectual dishonesty is an individuals trait, there is no solving that, but in this case rebutting such one trick ponies is quite easy. People glorifying heinous subjugation of masses by colonial powers are just making themselves look idiotic, give it another 5 mins, and cholas will come into play. As I said - one trick pony.

None of this was ever on-topic in the first place. Here is the first off-topic post, which I've already reported:
Brexit and Future of UK : Discussions

I have suggested that a separate thread be created for GOI-sponsored Alternative World History. And in there people can talk about how Hitler and Tojo were the good guys and freed India and how 19th and early 20th century British climate control technology was used to engineer famines in India all they like. And also how imperial subjugation is the reason why China has massively out-performed India from 1947-2019 and hunger and malnutrition deaths still persist in India. It is indeed Britain that is to blame for why Chinese state trolls can actually use India as an example of why dictatorships are best for countries with 1+bn populations.
Weren't you the one bitching about mao the other day? How about this blame your brexit woes on the cholas and call it a day,

The UK isn't going to put a hard border there even if there is a no deal exit. It will be the EU who forces a hard border on ROI, not the UK who forces one on NI. The only thing we're not going to have is a border between NI and the UK as the EU would like. I mean, since most ROI exports to the EU pass via the UK anyway, it would make more since to just have a border between both islands and the EU. 80+% of ROI exports to the EU will have to pass through UK customs either way.

The EU will spend eight billion euros to develop port infrastructures in Ireland and offer direct ferry connections to Zeebrugge.

While I do agree with you and may add the fact that these issues ( including all the points raised by him here & in IDF, which includes deflections, diversions, shifting goalposts, etc all old tools in the armoury of a certified troll who desperately wants to have the last word ) have been done to the death both on IDF & out here, it's the repetition which is jarring & tedious. Like a child intent on having the object of his desire throwing tantrums, he keeps at it. How does this contribute to any learning, spirited debate, etc which should be the aim of any forum ( & I'm sure is the aim of this forum too) ?

Yes. They are playing with fire. Forgive them uk for they know not what they do.

That's going to double transit times and costs. It would be significantly quicker to Zeebrugge if they didn't impose a harder border following a no deal Brexit, because NI is best placed geographically to ship it. But that's another £8bn, on top of the £40bn, on top of the £11bn/year. Adding up isn't it? Any word on the payment split yet? Are you going to take it from Hungary and Poland for being naughty?

It doesn't, everyone sees right through it, akin to a stupid and funny thread. Given the moderation benchmarks, we can tolerate a bit.

Repeatedly? I'm sure you won't have any objections then were I to subject some of my pet peeves to some serious Bombay type abuses then.
