capacity now fully booked till 2032-33 maybe (+ or - 1 year) ? only they can tell how some lru are getting replaced with indigenous solution in between the batches.
Also what about the life extension/refurb for the shelf life expired versions ? must be some lot near that .

This dude is again saying development is yet to start for Brahmos-NG
He's DRDO maybe he doesn't know what Brahmos Aerospace is cooking. In anyways, we also need Rudram Mk2 and Mk3 as our strike weapons, which will be cheaper and faster than Brahmos NG. By 2030 we need to have Rudram Mk2 and Mk3 in production.

We have plans for two or three new versions of BrahMos. One plan is for a slightly longer range with additional features. As it is classified, I will not be able to go into more details, but we are definitely adding many more features, enhancing the range, and incorporating various other technologies as well. The air-to-surface versions are already in service with the armed forces.

Classified if only ;)

NG and LR in the medium term obviously plus the scramjet powered one in the longer term. Ramjet use can only push to like 800km since optimum mission time is of greater consideration to maintain high surprise element.
NG version to fit Brahmos into all available jets, from LCA to heavy class.
LR version primarily land/ship/sub launched dual use for a longer reach higher speed.
Would have liked higher payload myself but they seem to be ok with the existing 200kg warhead. Army fair few times told them to increase it to like 400kg or more but to no avail.

If we're already working on ET-LDHCM, then why scramjet brahmos?

will it be significantly Cheaper?

Different dimension fitment maybe. Brahmos is 600mm dia all along. The test vehicle of the HCM will likely use A5 booster stage. Actual missile will be quite large like the LRAShM like almost 1.5m dia booster with a slimmer CV on top hence 1500km or more range.
