So what is the point? My question is why always bigger country annex more land and small country can't? Kashmir is opposite of junagadh.we have Muslim population in Kashmir so according to rule,it should join Pakistan but you decided otherwise just because you are big country.i think partition is the main reason of no trust between two countries.
It seems Pakistan has forgotten Bangladesh. You should never have. Why I say this is, even after getting royally screwed by Indian army in 1971 you people started fingering India in Punjab and then in Kashmir, and now again trying to finger in Punjab through proxies in Canada and England.

It takes 2 to Tango. You have taken steps (Kashmir, Punjab), we do ours (Sindh, Gilgit-Baltistan, pok, fata). India being strong economically and militarily will be able to hold on to its land I.E Punjab and Kashmir. We used tricks and resources to help attain freedom for Bangladesh and will again use same to help attain freedom for Sindh, Gilgit-Baltistan, pok, fata, thereby annihilating Pakistan forever.

The India Indepndence Act did not allow population to chose which side to go but allowed the kings to decide. And who told you J&K was Muslim Majority? It had Hindu majority when you include Jammu and other regions of J&K State. Moreover the population you wanted to join you actually fought against the invaders. so you have no logic in your argument.

Cold War between USSR and USA lasted for decades. Only reason USA won was they never gave up and surrendered to any peace or disarmament lobby. You are not even giving more than 5 years to dowal ?

I have bought the book but haven’t read. But I know what all it contains. For Pakistan defeat is not losing the war but stop competing and fighting. The day they stop fighting would be the day they could loose.
But this I think comes from their misplaced belief of been successors of Gori n Mir Kasim who lost many battles to Prithviraj and King Dahir of Sindh. But finally they won. Pakistan think they would one day will beat India in a war.

Which country to join - Populations did NOT decide. Rulers did.
Junagadh - Pakistan could have moved in and taken Junagadh. It waited for the situation to boil because it wanted a precedent for India to explot later in Kashmir. When you act in bad faith dont crib about it.
Hyderabad - Nizam wanted to stay independent and play off one side against the other. We told him no and he did not want to listen so we moved him out. Same thing you did in Kalat so again - dont crib about it.
Small country has got a very good deal in Partition - You got a sizeable area of Punjab and Bengal which are highly fertile areas more than enough to feed your country. You further got exclusive rights on the 3 rivers in the IWT. India paid you a good deal of money and also gave you a chunk of the Army's equipment. Still want more? Tough luck sweetie aint gonna happen
