What's all this fuss about IAF action?

India is using 'deception' to give sleepless nights to Pakistanis so that their people question the government about fallen Pakistani soldiers at LOC but in return Pakistanis are killing our soldiers openly. That's what is happening. We are on halt due to elections which we are covering with deception.

One thing I never understood about military coups in Pakistan is that they never seemed to make Pakistan prosperous and wealthy..

Pakistan prospered under Ayub Khan. They did extremely well during the 60s. Do you know the S Koreans copied a lot of Pakistan's economic policies that happened under Ayub Khan? Of course, at the time they got a lot of free money and investment from the West also. At that time, India and Pakistan were exact opposites. Pakistan was a champion of privatisation in South Asia, while India chose socialism.

But after the 1971 war, Pakistan went downhill. Bhutto started nationalisation, which murdered Pak industry. And after Zia came to power, Pak began massive Islamisation. So they brought in Sharia law, segregated men and women, oppressed minorities etc. In the end education took a back seat for the populace, which is why it's declining even today. And of course, nobody in the world cares about Pakistani products, so no exports either.

Basically, had Pakistan followed through with Ayub Khan's policies, Pakistan would have become a developed country alongside Japan, S Korea etc.

True of West Pakistan. The then East Pakistan was mostly a colony and played an important part in fuelling the growth in West Pakistan.

Pakistan excels at making brilliant plans and then pissing on the execution. They had EVERYTHING a nation could want (natural gas deposits, coal deposits, a bread basket region with a highly developed irrigation network, a busy port on the important Gulf route, good tourism potential and support from the west). What did they do with it?

A baboon and a pigeon consulting a rice cooker could make them grow at ~5% annually minimum. What did they do?

That was not the American plan but. The Baghdad pact was basically to counter Soviet and US readied Pakistan for it. In any case, Pakistan was to be ruined because Americans wanted Islamic military dictator in Pakistan to fight Soviets in Af.

Honestly, as an outsider looking in, this is highly visible even on a surface level. A glaring example would be the low level of discussion the average Pakistani posters have on matters such as economics in their online forums. The arguments generally consist of punishing the corrupt or "retrieving $X billion of black money from abroad". I see a lot of reliance on 'people in higher places' magically managing things. There is rarely meaningful discussion on how to generate wealth, specific (and realistic) policy implementation, etc.

I'm not saying Pakistanis are dumb people, when ghosting their forums its not hard to find well articulated discussion on military tactics/strategy, and there certainly are Pakistanis who are well versed in finances. There just seems to be a general lack of knowledge or interest in economics and science. It says a lot about the state of Pakistan's education when its most privileged citizens show so little interest and knowledge in such critical sectors. The average posters in Chinese or Indian forums may not be aerospace engineers or financial analysts, but the quality of discussion is usually higher between them (when not trolling).

It's also common for Pakistani posters to discredit legitimate news and data in favor of fabricated ones (personally I feel that this isn't limited to Pakistanis, but they seem more prone to this).

Off course it's not Apr 16 yet and we are not good at preponing dates. If they say 16-20, add Indian coefficient of delay by 8 days. My estimate is 26 April.

They will do some false flag terror operation on themselves between these days. Then claim/cry victim while blaming India for the terror attack.

No they will not blame India for sure. Secondly India is actually not doing anything except for info gathering and small ops in POK may be and thirdly such mishappenings are every day scenario in Pakistan, they need not to do any false flag.
