Brexit and Future of UK : Discussions

you didn't put it for auction. You bled it over 150 years.
And right now, nobody would give you $40tr to bleed it for another 150 years. You never had that much to take and if you did, we'd be a lot richer now having took it.

Isn't it time after 72 years that you simply stopped *censored*ing whinging? What will you be doing in another 72 years? Still whinging?

we were 30% of world GDP. You, on the other hand, were the somalia of the world before you got the opportunity to steal.

No, you were 25%. Yes, the opportunity to have an empire spanning 20% of the world's landmass just arose from nowhere. India only had 25% of global GDP because, in the pre-industrial revolution days, GDP was dominated by the populations of agrarian societies and India and China had a lot of people. They were not a technologically advanced civilisation, if they were the European invasions by Portugal, Denmark, Netherlands, France and the UK could have been stopped. Even the Mughals invaded you. France and Portugal were also the last to withdraw.

Actually people would be willing to give 40 trillion to take India at an auction if that ever happens. But no one will ever pay even a fraction of that for Britain...because....Britain..,.

With No-Deal Brexit Looming, UK Firms Plan Mass Exodus

I can't see what's worse. Brit cos exiting UK & a fair no of them setting up shop in France, with the possibility of your employer too. Hope you polish your French? @BMD

The next option is always there. You set up a farm in Ireland. Cultivate potatoes and graze sheep.

This is how far these thick twats are knee deep in manure and dont realise it......

I can easily answer that question. Yes we do impose tariffs and NTBs and use them to try replace EU imports with domestic production/manufacturing to make up for the loss in financial services trade.

Ye of course you can.

This is the main difference between Leavers and Remainers. Remainers assume that absolutely no EU exports to the UK can be replaced by the UK internal market following the application of tariffs and NTBs. Leavers believe they can. Can't do vs can do attitude.

I'd love to see UK reinvent the wheel by trying to rebuild the manufacturing sector. I'm sure the indigenous talent pool in the UK is enormous. Failing which, you can always attract highly educated / skilled immigrants apart from investment. In which case, it begs the innocent question - why did Brexit happen?
