There was an article from ToI on it in my feed . I can't trace it now . Would appreciate if you post it . Juncker was flying high a couple of years ago - before Brexit , as per the article. Now he has a shiteaters smile , much like @BMD , desperately searching for a fig leaf to justify their Himalayan blunder .The biggest roadblock for an India-EU FTA was the UK and its stance on services. While India benefits from Brexit, the US does not. So you can expect backlash from the US for the UK leaving the EU.
But everything said and done , the last thing from India's perspective would be a unified EU , in addition to an assertive and aggressive China and a recalcitrant US.
Britain is a true friend indeed. Not so much in words but in deed.
