My technical 2 cents on Pakistani Fatah 3 (HD1A)
The limitation of most Solid Fuel Ramjet based supersonic cruise missiles is not peak velocity but terminal energy management.

Restricted throttling authority,

grain regression constraints and

limited combustion modulation degrade sustained specific excess power during high-G terminal weaving.

Against a maneuvering naval target this translates into lower endgame kinematic agility, reduced post-turn energy retention and comparatively poorer no-escape envelope expansion.

Similarly because of these interception becomes easier.
A liquid-fuel ramjet powered system like BrahMos maintains superior throttle response, sustained dynamic pressure and better energy recovery during terminal sea-skimming maneuvers enabling sharper evasive profiles, higher terminal maneuver authority and better seeker stabilization under aggressive lateral loading.
Speed alone doesn’t define survivability. Endgame energy dominance does.
