No one's claimed the Su-57's as good as the F-22.

And no, Rafale's not merely as good as the F-35, but better, simply because the F-35's real capabilities only exist on paper today. Hell, new F-35s don't even have radars now. The F-35 is the better jet, but only on paper. Once it's real, then sure. But 2031 now, they claim.

And yes, anything India touches is golden 'cause only we have hot and high requirements which results in extreme stress testing of the jets. During MMRCA, both American jets failed the testing regimen. Stryker failed too. So did Javelin. Which means, if India buys anything, then rest assured it will work in any other operational area in the world, so many countries look to India's opinion on such matters. Why else do you think there were a flurry of deals for Rafale after it won MMRCA? Many countries didn't even bother looking at other jets 'cause "India already done it, bois." India decides which is the golden goose and they all agree.

Both IsAF & USAF are using F-35Is and F-35As along with USN's F-35C extensively in the current conflict against Iran. Can't say that its abilities are only on paper with this fact in mind.

Israel had already destroyed most of Iran's air defenses last year, which is how the mass B-2 attack took place. Their F-35 works a whole lot better which even the USAF admits due to customization in many areas. Plus Iran isn't a good enough standard to judge, never mind the fact that Israel still used long range precision like we did in May to accomplish it.

Other than that, even their jet is still stuck in its pre-Block 4 configuration, which means it retains stealth, but useless against real adversaries like China and Russia that possess fully networked defenses and fighter jets.

As a stealth jet with F-16++ capabilities, it's currently good enough to beat up desert donkeys. That's all.

Americans have always wanted India to buy 114 F-16s as MRFA 4.5gen fighter post which they also danged 40 F-35s as direct procurement. This is what Trump meant, when he said that they're looking to pave ways for India to get F-35s. Selling any country their crown jewel like F-35, wothout that country possessing American fighter ecosystem through having a substantial US made 4.5 gen fleet is against their doctrine and US national interests.

We simply said, thank you very much but also no thanks. That is why we're procuring 114 Rafales and very soon the world will get news about IAF going for 60-80 Su-57/60MKI;)

Greece had the choice between the Rafale and the F-35. In principle, it chose both, but it took delivery of the Rafales first. It is hesitating over the F-35 given the mess that F-35 customers find themselves in, such as Switzerland, which had to reduce its order to offset increased costs and delays.

How do you sleep at night, after spouting so much misinformation? Yet you know the true situation

I think a lot of people are scratching their heads over Greece buying both the Rafale and F-35, Brown paper bags with money seems to top the list
Greece is the only country that has bought a 4,5 and 5th gen aircraft

Other part is what makes it dangerous even if we dont buy it .
“The F-35 transmits information about all military assets within a certain radius instantly and in real time to the United States and Israel.”

Looks like last time they brought the plane to trivandrum airport , it was not just sitting idle, they were certainly probing our air security.
