And we keep mum while watching this horror unfold. I am both amused and horrified at people not realising the gravity of the situation in BD.

This needs a response from society. Not state.

How exactly should society respond to this? When you are minority in a country and this cleansing is being backed by the government and financed by foreign powers with vested interests — how exactly is society supposed to fight against this?

If you're expecting anything from the GoI except condemnations you're not getting it.

Part of the reason lies in the fact that we've not yet seen denouement to 2 of our recent skirmishes with Paxtan & China. So there's wariness in opening up a third front.

Even if we permanently solve the China problem one way or another , that gives us room to manoeuvre against BD. Hopefully same time 2035 we will be having this same conversation under happier circumstances though there's no guarantee of it given our military preparedness against China.

The JeI BD is aware of this & is escalating the situation by the day partly because they've nothing to show for & partly coz the BNP has the upper hand.

Their partner in crime is the newly created NCP full of "student leaders " whose only claim to fame is deposing the AL government last year.

Both these entities have a vested interest in postponing the elections .Hence you're going to see things get worse before it gets better.

Coming to our MEA mandarins they're cut of the same cloth like their other brethren in the IAS & other such services i. e - BA Hons in Eng Lit types who draft excellent memos , worship at the alter of Nehruvianism , for whom war isn't an extension of diplomacy but a failure of diplomacy which must be avoided at all & any cost.

Hence we'd keep underperforming & punching well below our weight for the near future. However this isn't to say all is lost. BD has an active civil society much more stronger than what Paxtan does as I pointed out before. This section has been in the vanguard of the 1971 liberation war & has constituted the back bone of the AL who've been alienated by AL's high handedness , corruption , ineptitude , nepotism etc.

These are the allies we must cultivate who having seen what the Jamaatis are capable of require a banner under whose flag they can rally. Since the AL is pretty much untouchable at the moment , that alternative is the BNP.

Moreover politics in BD has undergone a sea change with the removal of the AL from power. Today the BNP is in direct competition for power with the JeI & their allies. It wouldn't be wrong to conclude that the MEA has reached out to the BNP & effected some sort of compromise with the AL such that the latter ensures their votes go to the former instead of the JeI & their allies.

In addition to this we must've cultivated our assets in BD just as we've in Paxtan.

As far as the Hindus in Bangladesh go there are no easy solutions to their problems or none at all except making their way to India. The BNP is no friend of the Hindus there & if the JeI loses the elections as they're expected to they'd make the Hindus the scapegoat which suits the BNP just fine as the Hindus there don't have any political protection whatsoever. The AL was the best of the worst.

The long term solution is total population exchange between India & BD of those sub human malaun lungis from the NE & WB which is easier said than done for these vermin have now spread all across the country & intermixed with the local Muslim population here. Hence any such moves against BD ignites a civil war which we're due for in any case given Assam , Kerala & likely WB will be M majority in a few decades.

But that's a discussion for another day .

The key here is how long does Munir survive in Pak and how long does US have with him being a tool to be used against India. What’s happening in BD is fully orchestrated and financed by foreign forces. My primary worry is East Pakistan-ification of BD. These people will allow Pakistan to house military and weapons in BD to be used against India. What then? Any attack on India (grave enough for GoI to deem it an act of war) - we will see BD soil being used to carry out attacks on India. 2035 is a distant dream. We will see a conflict with Pakistan before 2028 — Munir will see to it that it happens.

Indian Society brother. Not Bangladeshi.

The society on this side. Only if society responds, will state have impetus. Society haven't made issue of "Kashmiri Pandit", " WB Hindus" politically costly in Rajasthan, Tamilnadu, karnataka, MP, MH etc... ceding space to 0.5 front. Same front which will likely side with yunus, even today.

As far as the Hindus in Bangladesh go there are no easy solutions to their problems or none at all except making their way to India.

Honestly, That's the need of the hour. And we have CAA as the perfect tool already.
The issue arises out of logistics and identification now. How do Bangladeshi hindu make it to India. And how do India make sure, they are hindu, sikh, jain etc and a victim, without assistance from BD govt. Not a M, Masquerading as minority. Ab sabki pant khulwake nahi dekh sakte na.

2035 is the date where we deal with BD not Paxtan. With the latter we're due for a short term war anytime now except it's not the decisive war you think it'd be .

In this war our aim must be the total decapitation of the leadership of PA, PN & PAF along with the destruction of their war waging machinery which means most of the PAF & PN assets if not all of them , their bases , ordnance factories etc.

Also including their NWP if possible . That'd accelerate their slide towards anarchy & dissolution as a state. Personally I wouldn't touch their NWP not because of the consequences but because it gives us the option & opportunity to enact the final solution when we've dealt with China & post their war against the US led coalition when the world's a completely different place with no US led global order whatsoever .

That's when we complete our unfinished business of partition dealing with East & West Paxtan & the Paxtanis within.

What you're seeing now isn't orchestrated by any foreign forces. It's all local & at the most Paxtan & Turkey. The rest is a 4" sub human thinking he's 7" tall. The West facilitated this not so much to needle India though that's the by product of their intervention but primarily to cut China's influence over BD.

For perspective, take a look at what's happening between Cambodia & Thailand. It's a dispute between the two over a few sq kms of land. Yet the latter is hell bent on destroying the military of Cambodia. Now Cambodia along with Laos have two of the weakest militaries in the whole of SE Asia.

Why do you think Thailand is so determined to do what I've just described? Check on Cambodia's agreement with China to provide the PLAN basing rights in Ream Naval Base in the Gulf of Thailand. None of the ASEAN nations or even China's commented publicly on this dispute.

The US is gradually sanitizing the periphery of China such that there's no Chinese presence in those nations friendly to China in case the US decides to oppose the Chinese invasion of Taiwan.

That's the reason SHW was overthrown, that's the reason Oli & the entire political system in Nepal was overthrown & that's the reason you've a full blown war between Cambodia & Thailand.

SL & Maldives have toed the US line. In future you may well not see Chinese ships making port calls there leave aside basing rights & if you see the former you're going to see US ships make such port calls too.

SL signed such an agreement with the US sometime back. If I'm not mistaken there were reports of the Maldives too signiy or discussing something similar with the US.

As far as the radicalization of the sub human malaun lungis go, I welcome it. Our Hindu society can't see beyond his nose, has no strategic thought & will not react till the fire reaches his neighborhood. There's zero Swayambodh & / or Shatrubodh.

Hopefully what's happening in our neighborhood especially BD & Paxtan along with incidents like the Red Fort attack should wake up the wretched bustard to what's in store.

There are no easy & quick solutions. What you're seeing now in terms of blood spilt us nothing compared to what's going to come. Steel yourself & prepare for the worst. We're about to face an existential war the likes of which we haven't faced in the 2 millenia of written history in the sub continent. Make no mistake about that.

It's a minor issue. Till date all visitors from Paxtan are administred polio vaccines upon arrival in India irrespective they carry a vaccination certificate from Paxtan for we don't recognize it.

GoI can issue a notification asking for a full body check up & administration of such vaccines. Detain the lungis & take a kidney off each sub human before throwing them in the high seas off the Sunderbans. The rest will get the message.

Lets take a moment to remember the 0.5 front that has always existed.

Today's portait in retardedness is Jogendranath Mandal. This loser was manipulated by the proto-Pakistanis during Partiton to convince the BD Hindus they will be mistreated by the UC Hindus. That they should remain in BD as they would be treated better by Muslims. The idiot was disabused of this notion immediately after Partition as he witnessed atrocity after atrocity committed against Hindus in his beloved Pakistan and sent packing back to India where he died a destitude fool.

When WB Hindus don't want to be saved and keep electing that CM who herself is a WB Hindu then why should others come and save them from their fate? Let them deal with it. Its a disaster of their own making.

Btw entire world saw the so called 0.5 front in actual physical action in 2002, the same scenario will extend across the entire country minus perhaps Kerala and WB where it will be a one sided massacre and the side being massacred aren't us. If you guys think these internal elements pose even a modicum of threat infront of the CRPF, CISF not to mention the half lunatic genocidal ppl in VHP Bajrang Dal then take some pills honestly.

My IPS relative in CRPF took me to what he called a "medium" sized armory in the middle of nowhere in South India and there had to be something like 200 AK 47s, AK 203s among other weapons. @_Anonymous_ honestly what do you think these weapons are for? Warming their holders? I seriously dont understand how you guys think this "0.5 front" poses a real threat other than a few bomb blasts here and there. We LITERALLY have an entire internal army of 2 million people but somehow this 0.5 front living in slums is going to cause a civil war!!!

Bro wants us to bomb a sovereign country in the blue thinking we have the same economic political and technological leverage over the world as the United States of America does to deal with the aftermath. Not to mention useless and napunsak neighbors like Canada, Mexico, as if we are not bordered by an emerging superpower which will not sit quiet.

What was the leverage that we had during 1971? Also, bombing is not the point— a Pro-Indian government is required in BD for preservation of our interests.

How about a simple statement— any presence of Pakistan military (via agreement or otherwise) will lead to BD being considered a bogey of Pakistan and be dealt with accordingly during any future military operation.

But no, the synonym of “Rational” in this country is “Spineless”

The stance of GoI should also reflect this. So far I don’t see it. My primary problem is with the lackadaisical spineless approach and attitude that our Babus have. It’s on us to project a message that we mean business.

BJP don't have the balls to do it, BJP leaders are busy in selling the country they don't care, if they had done Thier job, the should have tightened the Bangladeshi borders & removed illegal migrants,
I agree to an extent. However, it is under the BJP that some policies have been implemented and certain guidelines updated when to comes to illegals. I would not say that they are cowards or that they are just sitting ducks. Incompetence exists and I acknowledge that as well. The border fencing and patrols by the BSF remain a source of contention in WB. The party responsible is definitely not the GoI.

Coming to removing existing BD illegals. I hope people can curb their excessive optimism. There is no single solution for this issue. Folks hoping that all illegals will be deported in a couple of years should spend some time contemplating whether this can truly be accomplished.
