Islamic Republic of Pakistan : News, Discussions & Updates

Foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan increased by $1.47 billion due to $1.5 billion loan from ADB. Currently reserves are at $8.91 billion.

Pakistan survives another fortnight.
west wont let them sink, they will keep propping them up. All our hopes are now with almighty imran khan, need to ensure he comes back power for more fireworks to happen.

We need 10 years of 7-8% growth and hopefully Pakistan keeps at 2-3%.

Then we would have a lot more options. A lot more fun.

We have reforms already in place , so even more than 8% would be possible in future.
Regarding Pakistan , the floods already washed 30 billion of theirs , so unless Chinese or West some serious work more than 5 % would be impossible at least for next few years .

Indians should also take on streets to teach these UPSC idiots so called secretaries and joint secretaries their actual place, bl**dy haramkh*rs kaamchors. And these IPS officers should be handed over to military men and should be shown what actual 3rd degree give them 100volt shock on their genitals. Commissioner this commissioner that my foot bc.

we need status updates on pak situation my friend @safriz

pakistan pain da bad!
What's happening is shameful to say the least.
People won't rise against own military, but the prestige of the military has been damaged by current COAS Bajwa.
In the history of Pakistan a sitting COAS never targeted a specific politician openly.
IK is being openly targeted by ISPR as they are issuing statements against him.
In the history of Pakistan a sitting spy cheif had never held a press conference.
For the first time ISI cheif held a presser and spoke against IK , and in favour of the convicted theives who comprise the current government.

These are unprecedented situations, and people are deeply unhappy with the military because of this.

The protests following imran Khan shooting incident were too small. Seems like peoples are too afraid to come out. Even a regional political party in India could bring hundreds of thousands peoples to street for much smaller issues.

At this point, Imran Khan is checkmated. If he say something against army, they will charge him with terrorism and disqualify. If he didn't, ISI will go after low level PTI workers one by one and weaken the party. Low level leaders won't be able to resist the pressure and they may even defect to other parties.

Imran Khan had only himself to blame for this situation. Few years ago, when ISI was going after PMLN low level leaders, PTI was cheering for ISI and boasting about how PMLN leaders got "Attitude adjustment". Now PTI low level leaders are gonna get the same "attitude adjustment".

IK has a different type of following. The fairly educated middle class .
His followers are not rioters and avoid making trouble. This is a good thing and a bad thing.
Good because unlike when Benazir Bhutto was assassinated, and the while country was set on fire by her followers, IK brings no such calamity.
Bad because the lacklustre protest didn't put the government or establishment under any pressure.
IK did make some mistakes while dealing with Army and ISI.
For the first time in the history of Pakistan the PM interviewed ISI cheif before his appointment. This never happens and there was no need to do that.
ISI took offence and we know what happened next and still happening.

Hence the BANANA REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN... 😅😅

In India government of India appoints RAW, army, Navy, Air force, chiefs and that too peacefully without any fear or backlash from defence personnel.

And defence personnel accept it without any question. A proof of mature vibrant DEMOCRACY Pakistanis can only dream of... 😊😊

So he is Pakistan equivalent of Kejriwal, good personality but brute majority of the population doesnt want such in power.
