This rioting is not due to CAA alone. It is a cumulative effect of Muslims losing everywhere from Triple Talak, to 370 to Ram Janam Bhoomi to NRC in Assam. They had been nurturing it and CAA gave them a reason to riot.
no major protests took place on triple talak or even RJB. It was only when an explicitly discriminatory law was passed that they protested. It is a fact.

More than that it is fear... even that video asking muslm rioters as to the reason of their protest, has many of them talking about NRC. They rightly realize that the NRC holds a gun to their head, and with the final recourse of declaring themselves as refugees not available to muslims, they are running riot. They are trying to stop the NRC, before the long night consumes them. It's not about sheltering some Muslim fu**Kers from Bangladesh or Pakistan, that they are agitating about. It's about their own future that they are worried.

Indian muslims do not have reason to denounce CAA or NRC. But the reality is that Indian muslims are hidden wahabis like the Pakistani sunni muslims. They want Rohingyas and BD muslims to be given citizenship as well. It is this which is the root cause of all the rioting. They fear losing WB completely which they have tried to convert to an Islamic state like J&K. 370 killed the hegemony of muslims in J&K, NRC and CAA will do the same to Bihar, WB, Assam and other states in NE. Muslims in India suddenly find their 70 yr dream broken by MSD.

Modi never had a reason to create a discriminatory law. He could have passed a non discriminatory law and then made sure that only Hindus got acceptance.....but that would not have let him achieve the division he was planning and protests that would take attention away from his enormous failure as a PM. If India was growing at 12% a year you think he would have done this? He would have tomtommed that no end. Now because he is a failure he needs to rile up on all these issues.
One of the biggest thing which most of you have failed to notice is the slogans they shouted and their comments about SC. They hold SC gulty of hanging Afzal Guru and Yakub Memon. They also hold SC guilty of giving RJB to Hindus. Can you please explain what have hindus done which calls for their Kabr to be built in AMU? And how can you stay in India if you do not accept the verdict of SC? The truth my friend is very clear for everyone to see. Modi has gone as per the law of the land. when you create special laws for muslims and other minorities of India, article 14, 15 and 21 is not violated but the moment you apply it to Hindus and other religions specifically without excluding muslims, hell breaks lose. I have no problem with the CAB. We live in a hostile islamic neighborhood and a point had to be made. As a standalone bill it is fine. But, pan india NRC on the lines of assam, is like burning down your house, to drive away the rats..
