What according to you should be Indian Military strategy, tactics or technology build up?

Is there any project by DRDO or, any private authority to develop a system like IVAS ( INTEGRATED VISUAL AUGMENTATION SYSTEM) of USA regarding the futuristic -soldier project ? EQ2K4DQV2RCOHO34PW4TRRNBRM.jpgIVAS_CS4_Testing_Alaska_1.jpgMounted_IVAS.jpgIVAS_1.2_Side_View.jpg

IVAS has basically gotten scrapped btw, it caused a lot of dizziness and was also heavy and highly sensitive in a adverse environment. We had FINSAS but that has also basically gotten scrapped in its original form since they also ran into the same issues. What is more likely is that we will see a projection onto a transparent visor providing basic battle info to the soldier and also a camera on the gun that projects onto the visor for round-the corner shooting. Right now the focus of the army is to get almost eveyr soldier a holographic sight with marksmen getting 2x-4x and as LPVOs get cheaper we will also buy tonbos scopes. A lot if happening and the new LCCA(low cost capital aquisiton) rule part of the DAP 2026 will really help with getting the army up to standard.

I don't know if it is really scrapped or, not. But as per available news/data the project is still on.

I think in future there will be humanoid robots to be used for combat , so the direct intervention of humans will be less. But still the data-fusion & ultra fast protected communication will be the key where such systems may be useful as control interfaces.

they're the US army, they have enough money to throw at things that dont eventually end up working as intended but certain aspects of the system developed are reused in other projects. We dont have enough money to throw at things. Look at BBGx. its a dumb program but the US navy is using it like a research program rather than a actual program. They can afford to spend 17B per ship just to get the hard R&D for systems done with.

Explore more oil and gas resources if any left. I don't know why all the time Indian leadership hesitates. Depending too much on buying power is very bad idea.
