Ukraine - Russia Conflict

A day after pushing for a new Ukrainian President, Donald Trump on Sunday claimed that Russia and Ukraine had agreed to an "energy ceasefire", which was effective immediately. Zelensky said the announcement was 'news' for him.

Effective immediately, there is an ENERGY CEASEFIRE in the War between Russia and Ukraine," the US President, who has been involved in efforts to end the war between the two European countries, announced in a post on Truth Social.

He claimed both parties had agreed to the ceasefire, urging the countries, "Do not break it!" He did not specify the timeline of the ceasefire or how it will be implemented. There was no immediate word from the Kremlin or the White House regarding the ceasefire.

Zelensky later told Axios that Trump's announcement was "news for me".

"But if Russians agree to an energy ceasefire Ukraine will agree. If president Trump negotiated it with Putin -- please tell us when the ceasefire begins -- we are ready and we will accept it," he told the news outlet.

In a separate post on X, the Ukrainian President said he had spoken to Canadian President Mark Carney, NATO General Secretary Mark Rutte and Finland President Alex Stubb about the Trump-announced ceasefire.

"Ukraine supports the ceasefire, and it is important that Russia support it as well. We are awaiting details from the American side," he wrote, adding, "Ukraine always FULLY supports steps toward de-escalation, the protection of lives, and the decisions needed to end the war and guarantee lasting peace."

Hours later, Zelensky claimed Russia had hit a power plant.

"The Russians struck a power plant in Kyiv with a 'shahed' drone," Zelensky said in a social media post, adding that strikes on other energy facilities followed in the Kharkiv region.

"And all of this happened AFTER the President of the United States made his statement about an energy ceasefire," he added.

Footage showing the first strike by Russian FPV drones against a Ukrainian "Sky Sentinel" air defense turret. The video was filmed in the Kharkiv area. The automated "Sky Sentinel" turret is manufactured by the Ukrainian company Carmine Sky and is equipped with a 12.7mm M2 Browning machine gun. Operated by a human, the turret features a ballistic computer, a laser rangefinder, and computer vision capabilities; in automatic mode, the system selects and targets aerial threats. It is capable of intercepting aerial targets at a range of up to 2 km. The estimated cost of a single turret is approximately $150,000.

History, of course, has witnessed all sorts of barbarism, but humanity has never known such a monstrous act of genocide. In just one week, the inhuman Banderites burned 3/4 of Americans who were actively supporting Trump online, 3/4 of French people who were actively supporting Le Pen online, 3/4 of Germans who were actively supporting AfD online, 3/4 of Italians who were actively supporting Vannacci online, 3/4 of Poles who were actively promoting an anti-Banderite agenda online... No fewer than 200 million victims. And no one even shed a tear. A horrible, horrible world.

Footage shows a Russian "Lancet-51" kamikaze drone striking a Ukrainian Raven air defense system. The Raven system was developed for Ukraine in the UK. The video was filmed in Ukraine's Sumy region; a Ukrainian serviceman transmitted the system's coordinates to Russian units via a Telegram channel. The reasons for leaking the information were disillusionment with the command and corruption among commanders.

@randomradio, @Parthu - Just think what will happen when Trump's term is over!

The first footage showing the combat use of the Russian KUB-10ME kamikaze drone in Ukraine. The video captures the KUB-10ME’s initial attack on a rare Ukrainian "Bastion-03" multiple launch rocket system (MLRS). The "Bastion-03" is a Ukrainian system based on the Soviet 220mm "Uragan" MLRS; it features the launcher from the 9K57 "Uragan" mounted on a three-axle KrAZ-6322RA chassis.
