Ukraine - Russia Conflict

Russian journalist, blogger and public figure Alexander Nevzorov personally spoke with representatives of the Ukrainian Azov regiment , as he wanted to understand the validity of the propaganda accusations of Nazism spread in the Russian Federation against this structure. On March 27, Nevzorov wrote about this, as well as about the results of communication, in his Telegram channel.

“You always have to figure things out on your own. Propaganda of the Russian Federation calls the AZOV regiment the concentrate of "Nazism". Contacted. Awesome people. They have nothing to do with any "Nazism". The result of our communication was the appeal of "Azov" to Russia. I hope that at least this will help pump out the shit that Putin and Solovyov piled into the skulls of poor Russians. Nevzorov, - wrote the journalist.

Appeal of the Azov Regiment to Russia

"Stop the thief!" usually the thief himself screams the loudest. Kremlin propaganda calls us Nazis and fascists, and calls themselves liberators who came to "denazify" Ukraine.

Azov is a unit of the National Guard, which was formed from volunteers in 2014, after Russia took Crimea, part of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. This unit, which serve: Ukrainians, Russians, Jews, Greeks, Georgians, Crimean Tatars and Belarusians. For 8 years now, soldiers of different faiths have been serving in this unit hand in hand: Orthodox, Catholics, Protestants, pagans, Jews and Muslims. Where the majority speaks Russian.

We despise Nazism and Stalinism. Because our country has suffered the most from these totalitarian regimes and false ideology.

Russia bombs Babi Yar, where victims of Nazism of the 20th century are buried. Putinists bring down tons of shells on hospitals, schools, kindergartens, churches. Putin's soldiers shoot the elderly, kill children and pregnant women, as the Nazis once did.

We could do this all day. Are they Nazis? No, because they have Jews in their ranks and follow a Jewish leader. You won't find any Nazi group who will do that. Are they ultra-nationalists? Some probably are, and Russia's games in the Donbass along with 100 years of oppression, gulags and forced starvation has not helped with that sentiment. But when I look at current crimes, I see several massacres, many rapes and ethnic cleansing via forced deportation all being committed by Russia, along with 100 years of aggression in Europe by them. The only time Europe got a break is when the Chechens tied them down for a while in the late '90s and early '00s. So whether some Ukrainians might be ultra nationalists or not, the government certainly isn't. And it's not even a side issue right now.

A lot of Jews supported Nazis or ended up being accomplices.

This guy is one of them. And funnily enough he was also investing in "NGO's" in Ukraine. There's pretty clear evidence of Ukrainians having Nazi beliefs. Especially against the Russians.

And the anglosphere has a history of supporting Nazism or fascism till it becomes too big a problem to control...

The American M777A2 howitzers came to Ukraine without the AFCS digital fire control system. The system allows for automatic correction of fire by GPS, which allows you to increase the pace and accuracy of shooting. Why this electronic unit was removed is not clear, perhaps because of fears that the howitzer will fall into the hands of the Russian army. There have already been reports that one howitzer has been captured by Russia. It is worth noting that the M777 howitzer is quite good and the lightest in the world. One of the problems when using it in Ukraine may be the cost of ammunition, the price of a projectile from $ 60,000.

Russian troops used incendiary shells MZ-21 on Azovstal in Mariupol. The Ukrainian media immediately announced phosphorus ammunition, but in fact unguided rockets MZ-21 were used. The 9M22S projectile is designed for firing from the BM-21 Grad combat vehicle. The incendiary element of the projectile is a shell of hexagonal cross-section made of magnesium alloy ML-5, in the blind socket of which a pyrotechnic composition is pressed.

The Azov battalion surrendered in the city of Mariupol. The wounded are being taken out of Azovstal. The commander of the Azov, Denis Prokopenko, published a video message in which he de facto recognized the surrender of the Azov. "The defenders of Mariupol fulfilled the order, despite all the difficulties, they delayed the superior enemy forces for 82 days and allowed the Ukrainian army to regroup, prepare more personnel and receive a large amount of weapons from partner countries. No weapons will work without professionally trained military personnel, which makes them the most valuable element of the army. For the sake of saving lives, the entire Mariupol garrison fulfills the approved decision of the supreme military command and hopes for the support of the Ukrainian people."

driven by short term interests not by any values or principles. Jihadi thugs are another example.

m777 is made of titanium structures hence the weight is less. $60,000 is for the excalibur round which is a guided round. spares are also going to be expensive, even worse if it is capture by the opposing force. May be ok for a short war but for long drawn war it does not make much sense.

It's only going to get worse for Russia.

Just imagine the hell they will rain on Russian forces when German self propelled guns and HiMARS/MLRS start being deployed by Ukraine.
I think the Russians are positioning themselves incase they lose the war, which is very likely, to say they lost against NATO not against Ukraine. I think the Russians know this summer it's going to be ugly for them losing a lot of territory when Ukraine launches a major offensive with heavy NATO weapons.

There are barely any heavy Nato weapons in the battlefield. The M777's won't change the situation much.
The Russians will have to do a proper full scale invasion and they will go through it since Putin has to maintain power. This might go similar to the winter war but the Russians will limit it. They will take the entirety of luhansk and dpr. And then race for Odessa and transnistira. Then the Russians will declare end of the military operation to save face. That seems to be the plan for now

Exactly my point. Ukraine is doing all this without those weapons. They are being train on them in Poland and Germany and will deploy German self propelled art, HiMARS/MLRS, switchblades and other heavy offensive weapons by early/mid summer.

Where are they going to get the manpower to do all that? They dare not mobilize the nation because they know they don't have the infrastructure for such a call to arms. Odessa isn't even a thought for Russia they are probably hoping they can keep the land they had pre war. Russia will likely hope the west will be satisfied with prewar line ceasefire but that is not going to be the case. Ukraine is all in getting all their land back and so is the US.

On the morning of May 17, a large fire broke out at a plastic plant near the Russian city of Novosibirsk. A large column of black smoke rose from the factory building.

Well I'm afraid it contradicts the response many posters in this thread have made. The problem was supposed to be NATO near their border. I pointed out that the Baltics were already in NATO and that it wasn't about NATO. It's just imperialism from Russia, nothing to do with Nazis.

I'm not fond of Soros, but he was not a Nazi.

Russia has no problem with Nazis (and similar) as long as they're facing in the right direction - see Molotov Ribbentrop Pact, see Communism, see their relationship with China. There are Russian speaking members in the Azov Battalion.

See above, see Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, see Chandra Bose. India and Russia are the very last people who should be saying who is and isn't a Nazi. In fact, if there are any island near Chandra Bose Island, you should call it Adolf Hitler Island and build a bridge between them.
