@Hydra - Now it's about defence in depth, before it was about Nazism. Sometimes it's about nuclear missiles being based in Ukraine, like they haven't in the Baltics.

The real reason is that Russia believes Ukraine belongs to them due to Russian Empire territories of old. The rest is bumfluff.

EU will have to change. unanimity wasn't a bad solution when we were 6 or 9, but not now.
And with the islamism risk, Russian threat,... it's time to focus on core values.

Maybe. It's a least partially true.
Or Ukrainian war is used as a perfect field test.
