Sometimes I wonder how do these jokers get to become analysts. Informed commentators have long stated that the bulk of the ISIS in Afghanistan comprised of ex TTP , LeJ , LeT , JeM & other Pakistan based tanzeems exclusively from Pakistani Punjab who were being set up to keep a check on the Afghan Taliban by the PA / ISI nexus.
After the initial ruckus created by Russia & Iran when this group first made it's appearance in Afghanistan a few years ago all the clamour arising out of these states died. In fact the ISIS in multiple encounters with the ANA , Afghan Taliban & the ISAF have reported casualties or prisoners all of whom were later identified as Pakistanis exclusively.
This move by the Taliban was on expected lines. As I remarked earlier there are wheels within wheels within wheels in Afghanistan.
