Its quoting indian tabloids like I-D-R-W. Enough said.
If you are so proud of your prediction, tell me when will start second phase or next war with pak
The numbers are not confirmed yet. This deal is going to be split between Su-57 and Rafale.
But why? I don't think su57 is as good as Rafales we flying now.The numbers are not confirmed yet. This deal is going to be split between Su-57 and Rafale.
Not soon. PAK knows what we can do to them now at will. They are scared. If you are so proud of your prediction, tell me when will start second phase or next war with pak
So no war asper youNot soon. PAK knows what we can do to them now at will. They are scared.
For the first batch? Nope. However, if we sign a follow-up deal for F5 variant then the uprated M-88 aka TRex engines would be there.Any chance of the new engines?
Su-57 is superior to even Rafale F5. Its not an aircarft based on super stealth as there is no super stealth. But it is a very practical aircraft. It can target its adversaries in A2A combat from much longer range compared to rafale. Pls understand, even in the nature, Elephants and Tigers cant be equated together. Both have their own advantages but history tells us that any 1v1 battle between an elephant and a lion has ended up in death for both. but if the herd of elephants is there, no lion ever approaches them. Rafale Radar even in F5 config will not be able to detect a Su-57 which can detect, lock on and fire its R-37 hypersonic BVRAAM on Rafale from a range of over 400kms. Every weapon is designed for a specific kind of military strategy, if it does not meet the strategy as has been published, does not mean the weapon is bad. History shows us that we have used Russian weapons better than Russians. Indian Armed forces are the USP of Russian weapon systems. Or for that matter and weapon system. Take the case of S-400, Russians could not save them from attacks but we did.But why? I don't think su57 is as good as Rafales we flying now.

We're playing our cards very close to our chest. It will come but how, when and where is ONLY known to the people at the helm which means right at the top.SU 57 will NOT come till Ukraine war is going on
We do not need it to come from there, just local mfg would do. One thing for sure the current Govt is highly reluctant to buy high end jets and even the decision making process is taking way way longer not just for jet buying, but also to release the fund for projects, tying some deals with unnecessary pre-conditions etc. Extra orders happened only because there was no other viable option and no other viable option because mk2 was not even sanctioned till 2022-23. Its also possible the decision makers on the Govt side do not want to forego the investment made in FGFA process and want to recoup something from there and this was a point of internal tussle that IAF do not want that jeet but have to accept as no alternative available.SU 57 will NOT come till Ukraine war is going on
If Su57 route is indeed pursued. It won't come immediately. It would see a development timeframe of 5-6 years for India specific variant, before it enters service.SU 57 will NOT come till Ukraine war is going on
I don't see this war dragging into 2027.
IAF gave green signal for purchase of a stop-gap 5th gen fighter during the end of last year itself. The decision to procure Su-57 was made post the conflict with Pakistan. Of course, the French lobby inside IAF see Su-57 as threat to future Rafale procurement(ala Mig-29 vs M-2000 redux, lol), so they are trying their best to create negative atmosphere regarding Su-57 procurement. But this deal is happening at the highest level, so just wait n watchWe do not need it to come from there, just local mfg would do. One thing for sure, IAF has downplayed influence/psychological effect of adversaries having 5th gen jet as much as possible. Their choice seem to be around Rafale or Eurofighter. They do not want more heavy category jets and Su57 is a heavy jet. Whether this is foolish or clever I can not decide.
Right now only USA China make 5th gen jet available, Turks Koreans maybe not far behind flight wise tho Korean one is based on config only. Rus is just coming into maturity stage and small order in their case so far.
So in this highly limited market, quite obviously an internal battle is raging on between GoI and IAF imo.

What about the Orange Man

Should start to look for f404 and f414 replacement thenOrange Man can shove orange carrot up its rear.
Our Nation, our National intrests, not US interests....
If we can manufacture SU-57 in Nashik with minimum modification to SU-30 plant & Russia transferring most of the non critical technologies & source code then we should go for it, US be damned....
