How do you know 3 or 5 jets are down because the Pakistanis are saying it? Look at their airbases and satellite pics of devastation. If they are capable enough, what happened to their attack on the 9th and 10th of May? We kicked PAF in and out; they couldn't survive the hit. There was pin-drop silence from PAF.

Absolutely no doubt about our A2G strikes.

I'm saying about 3 - 5 jets based on:
  1. PAF claims
  2. Videos of downed fighter jets
  3. Our Air DGMO Bharti's statements "losses are part of combat"
  4. Finally the CDS's admission.

If we did not lose anything then the press statement would have come out the very next day just like it came for the S-400. If some decoy drones were lost IAF would have said that "we made a fool of you (PAF) by sending decoy drones".

There was no response from PAF, because then they knew that IAF will use S-400 so they played safe.

This has now put Modi in a soup. I had told you all that GOI cant lie to the entire opposition of our nation. What CDS has done with his stupid comments is that he has put Modi govt on the mat with its back pinned to the ground. Same Khargeji had told the whole world on Camera that in the all party briefing, GOI had categorically denied loosing any ac. An ac which is repair worthy and can fly again is not called an ac downed or lost. CDS with his wrong word selection just gave ammo to our opposition to beat Modi Govt. Within armed forces their was lot of surprise when this CDS was picked up for the post over Lt. Gen Joshi, who was far more competant than him for the job.

We dominate Pak in both Conventional and Nuke. Now we have demonstrated our ability to take out their nukes within their own soil.

What they absolutely cannot do is open up external fronts while battling internal threats ! Unfortunately Munira is another idiot in the long list of idiots who've graced or rather disgraced the office of the CoAS & now the FM going back to Ayub Khan who instantly regretted 1965 which eventually precipitated his downfall.

I'm betting *censored* Munira is still smarting from his loss . In any case sections of Fauji Foundation definitely are .

Either he initiates the second round or loses his throne to a subordinate. Remember he's gunning for an unprecedented 5 years in office of which he's completed half with a 2 year extension due towards the end of this year.

By the looks of things at present getting that extension with a pliable civilian administration in power is a cinch.

I doubt the legions of Lt Gen occupying the second rung of office will sit back quietly & watch.

It's not,. you dear have grossly underestimated the naivety of Pakistanis. Dont go by PTIians fanboys, PA is the biggest political entity with massive following. The scale of hatred of common Pakistani against the -Hindu is unparalleled. You can root cause it as much as you want and assign this to conditioning, history and religion. My own conclusion is all, without exception, is all of them are complete scumbags.

For the next part,
Field Marshal was the extension he was looking for, now I have very little expertise on strategic matters so won't comment on what will happen, but things are going to get really bad for Pakistan.

On a Lighter note, a good government subsidy to towel and linen exporters can do more damage to East and west Pakistan than a lot munition can. Full spectrum means full spectrum.

This Rafale saga reminds me of a story long back told to me by one of my friends from corporate world.
Once upon a time, some village elders from a village in Haryana decided that they need to increase the milk yield of their cows. Someone suggested them to import a Bull from scandinavian country so that they could get a shanker breed cows with the milk yield of their cows. A delegation went to one such country and they shortlisted a very good looking tall big bull. But the owners of that Bull refused to let go off this bull and asked this delegation to look at other bulls. Seeing their reluctance to let go of this bull, these villagers from Haryana Village insisted on that bull only. Finally they paid a very big price for this bull and with lot of fanfare brought it to their village. After 2-3 days they let this bull among their cows. Now Desi cows finding a European bull among themselves started giving more attention to this bull. AND this bull will excite desi cows by lickng them and rubbing its body with them but would not mate. It went on for few days. Now the cows which got excited and left high and dry went ahead and mated with local bulls.
The angry villagers went back to that country and asked their money back as this bull was not doing what it was supposed to do. Do you know what this scandinavian country told these villagers from Haryana, " We told you not to take it and select other bulls, but you insisted on him. This bull is like a financial advisor who will manipulate you to invest but will never ever himself invest. We used this bull to only excite our cows but for actual job we had other bulls and thats why we asked you to take other bulls."
Rafale is like that bull, it excites but the job is done by the real Bull called SU-30MKI. And it has been proven in Op Sindoor. French airforce is more of an ornamental airforce and less of an actual operational Airforce capable of fighting wars.

Military is trying to expose the lethargy first the air chief marshal on delayed projects and then now the CDS on RoEs. Modi govt has to come clear what they want of Pakistan. Literally no one is happy with the cease fire, people were ready this time.

We are still bean counting Aircraft?

Did we buy them for warfare or just as photo props?

We fought we lost some equipment. The other side was seen eating glue and mumbling Nook nook. We have them crying in pain but unable to admit India hurt them.

This thread has more than a 100 detailed posts about the damage done to the enemy. And yet we are crying we lost aircraft.

Pakistan wants a cope because they were molested in broad daylight. Stop playing their game ffs.

On a serious note - It's a great idea. I recommended it in a policy paper to govt back in 2016 - though this time it will also hit B'desh.
I have separately written to the head of the textile exporters association who I know personally.

Advantageous position will be definitely lost as PAF will acquire HQ-19. Then it will be very dangerous for IAF to launch any operations without SEAD/DEAD first that using missiles and drones
 
The BSF and the Army have done a commendable job on the IB and LOC. I have seen the clips that they put out. Absolute determination and domination along many sectors. I hope they get a pat on their backs. In this entire conflict there has been little coverage allocated to them.

Elta EL/M-8222 a self-protection jammer developed by Israel Aircraft Industries is the MKI's standard EW pod, which the Israeli Air Force uses on its F-15s. This pod has slipped under the radar. It seems to have served the MKI well.

The Israeli tech used in this war has indeed worked well for the Indian military.
