On money poimt of viee,Not as expensive as losing few aircrafts. On strategic point of view during conflict its value is more than the money. It is just too expensive
By the end of this decade we'll have plenty of AEW&C. Don't worry. On money poimt of viee,Not as expensive as losing few aircrafts. On strategic point of view during conflict its value is more than the money.
Short sightedness of ppl in south block as usual. Astounding how we went full in for highly complex projects such as SSBN with full and unlimited government support and funds but for even basic things in comparison to that like awacs we are behind even Pakistan. You know the Chongs tried to make an awacs by sticking an idli type radar on top of a B29 copy back in the 1970s itself? Project got canceled but regardless shows how they took everything seriously. Not just high ticket strategic programs. In 1970s they had economy at the same level as us.There is no justification for not procuring additinal phalcon awacs.
I do wonder why is that... I am pretty sure the Rafale that has been shot down did not have one and had MICA instead. We do not have meteor in number yet & the few we have we are holding back.
This is what I told you last night. We always had these plans in mind to stop their nuke strike. Now we executed it and it came out as perfectly as it was planned. This is what gave our PM to declare that from now on the nuke blackmail will not work. And it was for this very reason that DGAO denied striking Kirana Hills.
People here literally think aatmanirbhar meme will solve all our problems. Japan didn't become the unstoppable warmachine in the 18th and 19th century on its own. It was french and German military advisors and technology absorption that made them what they are.I remember people goes mad earlier with Rampage procurement.
It's french most likely. The Pakistani Mirages are old and designed for strike missions. They are in similar category to the a-10,su-24,jh-7 in terms of role and survivability against ADS. This is not from the bvr fight but from a later night. The frenchies at their forum say it's not theirs. Pic-oil has been very quiet in here what's your expertise opinion on the engine? French or Russian?
Thing is, HQ9 failed to protect the most critical parts of Pakistan: its main airbases and its nuke storage. That is a major failure. There is no way around it.I don't think I need to comment, my opinions are all on Reddit and they are better than my answer.
Some Westerners' answers are more objective and fair than mine.

Well, most of the Indian forums have this view. I have no desire to defend myself. Two years ago, when I emphasized PL15, its two-way data link and active-passive composite guidance head, no Indian cared. Today, it is the same. If I explain the performance of HQ9B, no Indian will believe it.Thing is, HQ9 failed to protect the most critical parts of Pakistan: its main airbases and its nuke storage. That is a major failure. There is no way around it.
