Operation Sindoor: India Strikes Terroist Camps Inside Pakitsan

There is no justification for not procuring additinal phalcon awacs.
Short sightedness of ppl in south block as usual. Astounding how we went full in for highly complex projects such as SSBN with full and unlimited government support and funds but for even basic things in comparison to that like awacs we are behind even Pakistan. You know the Chongs tried to make an awacs by sticking an idli type radar on top of a B29 copy back in the 1970s itself? Project got canceled but regardless shows how they took everything seriously. Not just high ticket strategic programs. In 1970s they had economy at the same level as us.

Pakistan drone game along western border. If this a new normal then Pakistan has few cost in the play also.
1. It's Lahore airport and cantt area India can cripple also.
2. Pressure will be off in Indian LoC area. Now loitering munition can hover over 24 hrs in PoJK and neutralize terrorist there itself. Altogether new field of play.
3. Nothing is free lunch .Both turkroach and ping pong will charge them.
4. Few of the loitering munitions will hit drone operators itself .recent news of turkey drone operator.
5. India will come up with desi DEW and Jammer grid to block them from incoming as time passes by.

I remember people goes mad earlier with Rampage procurement.
People here literally think aatmanirbhar meme will solve all our problems. Japan didn't become the unstoppable warmachine in the 18th and 19th century on its own. It was french and German military advisors and technology absorption that made them what they are.
We need to simultaneously build our own MIC while absorbing outside technology.
The frenchies at their forum say it's not theirs. Pic-oil has been very quiet in here what's your expertise opinion on the engine? French or Russian?
It's french most likely. The Pakistani Mirages are old and designed for strike missions. They are in similar category to the a-10,su-24,jh-7 in terms of role and survivability against ADS. This is not from the bvr fight but from a later night.

I have been think about it ... I believe that war planners of India never considered the possibility of being ambushed in Indian airspace. They did not equip the planes for long range anti air combat. Or the mission was supposed to be very secret. Not to mention, AWACS was not involved. This means guiding of BVRs was left to planes only.

More importantly, we saw ZERO debrie of Indian BVRs. I wonder why... Did ANY Indian platform even got to firing a single BVR? I believe, our air fighting doctrine is lacking several critical pieces. Most importantly AWACS and EW capabilities. Second is the timid nature of our BVR usage.

Thing is, HQ9 failed to protect the most critical parts of Pakistan: its main airbases and its nuke storage. That is a major failure. There is no way around it.
Well, most of the Indian forums have this view. I have no desire to defend myself. Two years ago, when I emphasized PL15, its two-way data link and active-passive composite guidance head, no Indian cared. Today, it is the same. If I explain the performance of HQ9B, no Indian will believe it.
