There is no point in expanding the scope of this conflict to other nations. India's stated goal is to punish Pakistan for harboring terrorists and to degrade their ability & morale to continue harboring them.I think Turkish ship should be sunk.
That is the problem I feel, though you are right in that having good guy image is helpful to limit the amount of gibs pakees can get from gulf for now, but as seen with roaches they will also chip in. So, the time is approaching to enter dynamic escalation as situation demand instead of this.Our messaging is we are the good guys dont push us.
Indeed, probably keeping the roach ship on notice to start going to lima 2025 in malaysia, the original reason for its visit in pakistanArticle 5 won't apply regardless. No Turkish territory is being attacked in the Atlantic north of the Tropic of Cancer.
This is also why the UK couldn't activate Article 5 after the Falklands War. Fun fact, Hawaii and Guam are also not covered by NATO article 5.
India didn't attack Karachi because it is not at that stage of the escalation ladder. So far both sides have only sent over drones, missiles and artillery/mortar barrages. There is still a chance to walk back.
India when it had to hit didnt talk, it acted.
There are several points of view, but the situation is not yet clear: India says that all the aircraft were undamaged, Pakistan says that it shot down 5 aircraft, including 3 Rafales. As far as we are concerned, there may have been one Rafale. But the constraints of the operation meant that the Indian pilots took greater risks, as they were not allowed to attack the radars and ground-to-air missiles. No aircraft is invulnerable in a war. It depends on the aircraft, but also on the pilot and his fatigue, the tactics, the mission and the operational conditions.What are your insiders saying about the Rafale?
Dude US "tourist" were already likely in India when all this got kicked off.Dude relax! You make it sound that whole sky is falling upon us and we've no protection. IAF has top notch BVRs in its arsenal now.
PL-16 is the cropped/retractable wing/strakes version of PL-15 for internal carriage by stealth fighters. PL-17 is a VLRAAM designed to kill HVAs. As you have seen with many PL-15's found intact in our side that our fighters have indeed dodged/defeated it. Some reports say that MKI dodged multiple PL-15s. So no need to shiver because of Chinese wonder weapon whose codes are now with us. This bodes quite well for us during any future conflict with PLAAF.
@Innominate
Wanna have those PL-15 secrets? if DARPA requests, DRDO may oblige![]()

Lazily sending swarms to tie up our ADs note response times and consume ammo. Also constant readiness will have its impact on AD crews.
Having a "good guy" image has far better value beyond limiting immediate support from some GCC states. It shows that India is a mature and responsible power and that is important for India's real objective. India’s goal here isn’t to destroy Pakistan—it’s to stay focused on economic growth and securing a stable future. Going full-on escalation mode might feel satisfying in the short term, but it risks making India seem less stable and make it seem like a less responsible power. India needs investment buy in from the world.That is the problem I feel, though you are right in that having good guy image is helpful to limit the amount of gibs pakees can get from gulf for now, but as seen with roaches they will also chip in. This seems to be what was predicted in Bhawishyamalika in 16th century. We gave aid of medicines to Turks when they had a massice earthquake and also provided them a field Hospital. But we Indians are Kafir for them. Whatever we may do, we will always be legit targets for them to kill us. Only Hindus feed and prop up their own nemesis.They are actively aiding them in evading kinetic actions/reactions during military operations. This is called being an active ally during conflict/war. The Turks have openly declared that they stand against all IN activity during this conflict. This is more than a passive face saving agenda.
we cant. But USA and major NATO powers have cleared India to do what we want. Tonight you will see what did not happen last night.Turkey and Article 5 is for the North Atlantic. We can sink Turkish ships, or even American ships, no problem.
