Operation Sindoor: India Strikes Terroist Camps Inside Pakitsan

There is a Turkish naval ship in karachi harbour berthed very close to Type-054 frigates of PN which were supplied by China. Any attack on PN in Karachi wloud have caused collateral damage to Turkish ships which happens to be a part of NATO. The Clause-5 of NATO states that any attack on any of the member states will be taken as attack on NATO and NATO is bound to come in support of that member. So the attack on Karachi was called off last night. Now India has specifically told the world that Turkish drones were used in the attack. This clears the way for India to strike Karachi tonight and if Turkish ship is damaged in collateral damage, NATO clause-5 will not be activated. Turks are playing a very very bad game with India and helping protect Pakistan. Seems it has tacit support of USA.

While Songar is a relatively low-tech quadcopter drone, the Turks are co-developing/co-producing a range of weapons with the Pakistanis. These include small cruise missiles like Kermankes, BVRAAM and drones. They're turning out to be for Pak what Israel has been to India. The only saving grace is that Turkey would need cold hard cash for anything it sells Pak, given their precarious financial situation. We'll need to keep a close eye on Turkey going forward though.

The trouble with believing your own propaganda.

They were given another off ramp today. Looks like they won’t take it. If they strike we have 2 scenarios

1. Strike fails, India takes out more of their infra.

Lots of trash talk (sadly from our side too). Lots of brinkmanship but most likely Pak eats the L


2. Strike succeeds, India goes all out.
Loads of trash talk again. But this time the L eats Pak.

This govt gave them a long rope and Pak hung itself.

They are actively aiding them in evading kinetic actions/reactions during military operations. This is called being an active ally during conflict/war. The Turks have openly declared that they stand against all IN activity during this conflict. This is more than a passive face saving agenda.

Lots of us did.

Roughly, 2 are more or less confirmed.

1x Rafale. (NOT 3 that are being talked about)
1x Mirage.
Possibly 1x Russian jet.

Total MAXIMUM 3 fighters.

In terms of politics, India has had a negative perception in the Western media for decades. It's been that way since the 50s. The saving grace is Western people don't buy their own media anymore.

So the govt's containment of rumors has been happening at the domestic front focusing on the other 90% of the population that's below upper middle class. The govt doesn't have much interest in dealing with foreign opinions either. So I think we are doing fine.

Article 5 won't apply regardless. No Turkish territory is being attacked in the Atlantic north of the Tropic of Cancer.
Article 5, an armed attack on one or more of the Parties is deemed to include an armed attack:
  • on the territory of any of the Parties in Europe or North America, on the Algerian Departments of France 2, on the territory of Turkey or on the Islands under the jurisdiction of any of the Parties in the North Atlantic area north of the Tropic of Cancer;

This is also why the UK couldn't activate Article 5 after the Falklands War. Fun fact, Hawaii and Guam are also not covered by NATO article 5.

India didn't attack Karachi because it is not at that stage of the escalation ladder. So far both sides have only sent over drones, missiles and artillery/mortar barrages. There is still a chance to walk back.

Turkey and Article 5 is for the North Atlantic. We can sink Turkish ships, or even American ships, no problem.

Aircraft and warships are included, but yeah, only within the specified geography.

In the future, we will have to rely on all those satellite intelligence analysts for information.
