CAB prioritises naturalisation for refugees from these three countries and does not forbid muslims from being made a citizen of India. It only provides for giving priority to the minorities from these three countries. It is for this reason it has put a cut off date as we have over two millions hindus from Pak and BD in India living without any rights. Article 14 is not violated in this and article 15 & 21 are applicable to Citizens of India and not to those who are waiting to be citizens of India. All those who are opposing it are idiots and doing it to appease their muslim vote bank.
Many may not know than Adnan Sami and an Indian actress who married a Pakistani guy and thn gave up her Indian citizenship, were granted Indian citizenship recently.
Like everything these people are doing, nothing great will come out of this, and you also know it. IT is just another tactic because they can't deliver on economy.

It was part of the BJP manifesto for 2014 elections and an act was tabled way back in 2016. So it is nothing out of the blue. BJP won the elections twice with majority of its own based on these promises. So the majority of Indians support it that is why they voted BJP. Dont fault BJP for what they are doing.

It's a part of BJPs half @$$sed strategy and you also know that. The reason why there is no big push back against actions in Assam is because people genuinely belive there is an issue of illegal migration over there. But to try to extned it to all India in an attempt to say that there is massive illegal migration across all India is just BS. These jokers even built a large 'detention centre' near Bangalore I belive. You don't know how these Kannadigas are. They'll declare there is a big illegal migration problem and send all UP/ Bihar dudes over there.

This bill is wrongly interpreted and Balatkaari Janta Party is doing little to put it out in lay mans terms amid the media frenzy. Hindus and others from the subcontinent were always welcome here. Further, the bill should have had a stronger emphasis on income, revenue sources, education rather than religion. Instead, stronger laws/bill should have been proposed for those who illegally settle with fake identities. Who gives them fake IDs? Politicians who must grow their vote banks. Politicians will take votes, irrespective of whom they came from.

Are you drunk? Coz you're incriminating the very same ppl you want to protect. Is India the US to attract ppl with better education, etc & expect such ppl would flock here ?

This bill is about illegal immigrants, Hindus, Muslims, etc who've been here before the cut of date of 2014 , who otherwise would've been arrested & deported. This bill guarantees those minorities of Theocracies like Pakistan, Bangladesh & Afghanistan automatic citizenship given that they've historically discriminated against minorities. Whereas its assumed that Muslim migrants here are economic migrants given that they don't face religious persecution from the country of their origin.

As far as giving fake ids go, the foremost amongst them who allotted such ids were the Congress under Muslim leaders like Fakhru who went on to be the president of India & rubber stamped the emergency, who believed the Muslims of Bangladesh needed their lebensraum & the communists from WB who actively encouraged migration of only Muslims from Bangladesh & who suppressed the Hindu migrants from Bangladesh under the pretext of creating a vote bank - both of whom ( Congress in Assam & Communists in WB) provided accurate & adequate documentation for such migrants into India. And how were the Hindus from Bangladesh treated?

Bullcrap. Bangladeshis are all over India now.

Why Bangladesh leads in remittance outflow from India
Yet, recent World Bank data (Bilateral Remittance Matrix, 2014) show, of the $7.6 billion of outward remittances from India, 54 per cent or $4.16 billion was to Bangladesh alone in that year. Almost every year, 50-55 per cent of India’s total outward remittances are to Bangladesh.

Parsis, Jews, Gujjus Baniyas, Jains, christians, anglos etc, when forced to move out, don't come to India. They go to Europe or America or Australia or NZ. In fact, outward immigration from India of these people is more prevalent. No Hindu thrown out from Uganda/Kenya/Ethiopia in civil wars came to India. No Parsi from Zanzibar/Iran came to India. Indian origin citizens of Polynesian countries like Fiji, Suriname, Indonesia, etc never came back to northern India from where their ancestors were taken as colonial slaves... they went off to Netherlands or UK etc. Indians who suffered Apartheid in south Africa did not come back to India. For the relatively well to do Hindus of both Bangladesh and Pakistan, India is the last option. To all these people, India is just another third grade country.
The problem is that poor, economic refugees - hindus and muslims mainly from Bangladesh come to India (travel from Pakistan to India is next to impossible with the heightened security). The number of poor, persecuted Hindus who decide to leave everything behind and stay in India is nearly zilch. Providing shelter and subsequently citizenship to asylum seekers and refugees is a humanitarian act, for that the citizenship act that clearly discriminates based on religion, is meaningless and will only serve to hurt our image. The govt has always been lenient while granting citizenship to Hindu asylum seekers when needed - there was no need of a bill.
As far as the commies go, they are finished in Bengal. The Marichjhapi incident is for the history books, not current politics. My roommate in Pune is a Bangladeshi Hindu from Khulna. They used to face discrimination about 20-30 years ago, but now the younger urban generation have moved on. FYI, his muslim friends can easily avail of fake ids post 2014, if they need to with help from agents on both sides...
Incidences against Hindus are rampant in smaller towns and villages, just like the gaurakshaks in India. The problems are the same - two dumb third world countries having issues with religion in 2020.

This is where your argument fails, by associating the word "refugee" with Muslims.

Muslims aren't refugees, only Hindus are, as are other minority religions. Muslims constitute as illegal immigrants.

I find it funny that while non-Indian Muslims are proud proponents of the Two Nation Theory, but only India is required to not follow it.

Illegal immigrants are illegal immigrants and need to be booted out. By the same yardstick, Hindus that are illegal immigrants in other countries also need to be booted out. But refugees, no, because there are no real, applicable laws in theorcratic countries that protect minorities. If Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh become secular with actionable laws in response to CAB, then we can talk. Until then, all non-Muslims can enter India as refugees, but Muslims who have illegally come into India need to be booted out.

Of course, it's unrealistic to physically be booted out, but it's obvious they need to be disenfranchised. Hell, it's ridiculous that these people can even vote.

the biggest bug in the software is the bunch of looneys called BJP and their Bhakt. When we remove you growth will automatically come back and all good things will happen.
I am pretty sure, Modi is has no interest in economy and all. He has given that department to others and he does not really give much attention. Because there is a phrase, ' human wants are unlimited' so no matter how much one gains, he will still want to gain more. Point is to use the money for priorities what is actually needed not what is actually wanted. This is also a lesson for people of India.

Five star culture, pubs, bars, and luxury does not really mean economy. People must learn to live a simple life focus more on health and education than branded stuff and costly cars. Then there is ample of money to spend later on.

By this you will be able to come out of any situation even when there is a war. People need to learn. Especially in Metropolitan.

The Bill is important as this will stop the misuse of Indian soft policy. It's not more atithi devo bhava for all. Because most of them are not atithis but thugs.

Im stressing on bangladesh because that is the main source of 'illegal immigrants'. These immigrants are landless laborers who reside in the deltas of Ganga/Brahmaputra and the areas that flank the Sundarbans. They cant fish because of the pollution nor can they farm with the rising occurrences of flooding. Lowest strata of society, no education, 4-5 kids, in Mayanmar they get the boot. The young flee to Thailand, Indonesia and malaysia, but the easiest option for a family or the less-daring, is India. How will this citizen amendment bill stop them? It cant, nothing can. They don't care about citizenship as long as livelihood is sustained. This bill only harms India on a global stage. The current govt had anyway expedited the process of granting citizenship to Hindu asylum seekers. Now heres the problem - the poor hindus who come here are from the lower caste - they must again wade through the caste system to make ends meet. In pak, their life s*it because they were not muslim, in India, they are treated as Dalits. Will the bill fix the problem? What is needed is a mechanism to integrate them economically and socially.

You haven't really thought about a whole lot of other points. Like drugs, counterfeit currency and terrorism for example. BD Muslims coming into India are a huge threat to India's very roots. And that's made worse by politicians helping them get Voter's ID.

Hindu refugees are significantly a lesser problem in comparison, at least when it comes to terrorism.

As for social issues, that's not covered by the CAB anyway. Only education can take care of that problem over the long term.

Global stage be damned. We need to take care of our house first. Once all citizens are rich, educated, well-fed and healthy, then we can talk about global stage. It's not like other countries do anything for us, all they do is preach. Else they can accommodate all these people in their own countries.

How will this citizen amendment bill stop them? It cant, nothing can.
Physically, no. But what are they gonna do without citizen or refugee rights? They won't get welfare. And even education and employment is very difficult without the "Indian" tag. So you will always remain at the lowest strata for generations, which will make their own country a better long term bet instead.

Taking data out of few handful of businessmen and groups and telling the world India has 8% growth rate doesn't make any sense either. In ministries the data provided by Indian statistical Insitute.Kolkata gets manipulated. Till now majority of sections was not included into this data. Now after adhaar and inclusion of these people's money into accounted economy now when you calculate the average growth it's 5%.

This has been the actual growth rate of India since past 7 decades or even below. What did India achieve when it was superficially growing with 8%. Nothing. There are same problems which persisted 4 decades back. Same farmer issues, same price rise, same lethargy and same lack of infrastructure.

Poor got poorer and rich got richer under congress because they believed in setlling foreigner in India that too from Bangladesh etc so that they can vote later on. Do you know 80% slum area in Delhi and Mumbai belongs to illegl Bangldeshis who do not pay tax.
