Israel, US Strike Iran After Weeks Of Warning, Explosions Heard In Tehran

US and Israeli air forces have begun striking Iranian oil refineries and storage facilities. Video footage shows strikes on an oil refinery in Tehran. Iranian oil infrastructure in Shahran, Fardis, Karaj, and other locations has also been hit. In retaliation, Iran is striking US bases in the region.

I saw a couple of videos of his more than a year ago . Same MO as most story tellers pursue . Mix up facts with dollops of supposition & some fiction to serve up - faction.

No idea how did his videos get into my list on YT . I wasn't even perusing Trishul then unless Google was monitoring my posts especially responses to you know who out here a year ago.

Since I stopped engagement a lot of such videos ceased getting into my list of viewing on YT . Forever grateful for such small & tender mercies. No intention or interest in revisiting my decision as well .

This was the video which first popped into my list .

Go through it to understand what I'm trying to convey. Of course for that you must have a fair grounding into the entire OIT vs AIT / AMT debate as well a decent understanding of our proto / pre history to understand where & how he's mixing up facts with supposition & fiction else like Hydrocele any argument full of jargon & wordplay would be acceptable to you for it catches your fancy.

When did the US join the last two world wars again?
When the US joined WW-1 , it was stalemated . Worse the Eastern front collapsed as the Russians simply withdrew leading to the Russian Revolution & Civil War where eventually the good guys - the Bolsheviks triumphed .

If the US didn't enter WW-1 when it did chances are the issue would've resulted in a Cease Fire only to resume later which it did in any case , 2 decades later.

As far as WW-2 goes , if the US didn't enter WW-2 when it did , you'd be speaking Deutsch & Deutschland Uber Alles would've been your national anthem instead of God save the hag .

I don't see what's the hassle all about too. After all England is a nation built by Germanic tribes - the Angles & the Saxons while English is a Germanic language .

Despite the massive strikes against Iran, Iran's missiles and drones are also retaliating. Video footage shows Iranian missile strikes on Israel's Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, where American military aircraft are possibly stationed. It is now known that an Iranian drone hit a US Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) radar at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, as shown at the end of the video. The cost of replacing the AN/TPY-2 radar is estimated at between $300 million and $500 million. Several images, including satellite images, are already available. The Wall Street Journal reported this information.

There are no unstoppable weapons. Interception is possible depending on the kind of ADs you have in inventory. If it was indeed intercepted, then there are some areas that are still actively being protected by local AD grids. There are a few UAVs that have also been downed in the past few days.

A bit of a digression but in our case sub sonic CMs would relatively effective against Paxtan not much so against China .

Correspondingly our peacetime & wartime production capacities to feed our IADS be it QRSAMs , MRSAM / LRSAM / Barak -8 , various versions of Akash , S-400 etc must be geared up to churn out such missiles in the thousands within the shortest time period if one considers the inventory of missiles & rockets China holds .

I sincerely hope at least now the phucktards in Delhi wake up to reality .

I don't get the hysteria surrounding the sinking of IRIS Dena. Neither the Dena nor the US submarine that sank it were in Indian territorial waters (or in Sri Lankan waters for that matter).

The US & Israel are pounding to pieces any offensive or potentially offensive Iranian military capabilities within that country, but for some reason an Iranian warship has to be left alone because it's not in Iranian waters/out of theatre at the moment? That doesn't make any sense. Once hostilities with a country are open, if you have the capability to destroy that country's military assets before they can become a problem, you do it.

And what's this about 'fighting fair'? War is never fair, the whole point of war (and preparation for war) is to ensure that you give yourself the most unfair advantage you possibly can.

Besides, the way I see it - the IRIS Dena was a POTENTIAL THREAT waiting to manifest itself. It's obvious by now that Iran's military is targeting countries without rhyme or reason, in an effort to increase the cost of war on as many countries as possible (including nominally unaligned parties like Oman, or even those who were aligned with anti-Israel causes like Qatar), so as to indirectly pressure the US & the world to stop the attacks on Iran.

Knowing this, how can anyone guarantee that IRIS Dena wouldn't have eventually targeted shipping in the region if & when ordered to do so? If not attack one of the countries in the region in an effort to impose costs on them so that they in turn apply pressure on US? Several Indian mariners have already lost their lives due to Iran's attacks on civilian shipping.

Waiting for such an eventuality to come to pass would have hurt India's and our southern neighbour's economic interests much more than what the closure of Hormuz is already imposing on us.

Bottomline, I don't see why this is even a big deal. It's just 1 ship among 10+ other Iranian ships that were sunk over the last few days.

Can Taiwan Talks invite @Parthu instead of the moron they invited who couldn't look and talk more like a village idiot?

I'd say the Iranians blundered in sending the ship to Ex Milan in the first place. They must have known war was imminent. Not the time for leisure trips.

They barely had a navy worth the name, anyway.
All good and dandy, but we have long held a view that IOR belongs to Indian Navy. It is our backyard. Now USN's SSN sneaks into our backyard and sinks Iranian ship. Apart from 'anything goes in war', there is also subtle message that Uncle Sam is sending to us and let me tell you something, that message has reached where it was aimed. We understand its implications and nuances @vstol Jockey
