But in this model, we can see 1 hatch & not 2. Maybe a design change.

According to the 2021 tender, there must also be a dummy turret for weight sims.It is stated to be the test hull for the datran powerpack aka need to resemble the future afv minus some possible future modification maybe? These will be proto hulls for the test vehicle where the sub systems will be integrated one after another for testing.
Do the generator like below etc are also tested by integrating on a proto hull ?According to the 2021 tender, there must also be a dummy turret for weight sims.

There are spare PPS hulls afaikDo the generator like below etc are also tested by integrating on a proto hull ?

or in the powerpack test facility they built ? there was one such tender last year sometime. The automatic projectile loader was also mentioned to be for testing, actuator etc.

Engine Factory Avadi @EngineAvadi of AVNL has placed an order on FEV India Pvt Ltd for the development of a 600hp power pack for tracked vehicles, specifically their FICV
Imo:
- This has to be AVNL's alternative to DRDO - Ashok Leyland 600hp engine. I expect DRDO + private firms (KSSL & TASL) to excel in FICV reqmt via AAP-Tr over AVNL FICV.
- EFA 600 hp engine & AVNL FICV should be a proper leap over the BMP-2. AVNL production capability will have to be maintained via exports if they fail to trump AAP-Tr, imo AVNL should primarily focus on bagging export sales rather than domestic sales. Particularly in the global south.
L&T is also developing waterjet propulsion systems up to 3500kW class. These larger waterjets will likely be used by vessels such as the 31 NWJFAC cleared by DAC in Dec 2024 alongside 120 FIC-1 which will use 2x 651kW each. IN & ICG requirements will be massive, good job by L&T.
