Adani and TATA didnt even qualify for the bids? You cant get better than solar for this project. They have some R&D juice in them.
I have a lot of hope for this project. The key building block, a 30hp waknel engine, is already in production.
i think they will be offering their own jv products perhaps, esp Adani harpy already IAF fav. In comparison NAL uav prospect is slim.
I'd say Newspace's Sheshnag LM family fills this niche quite well. They are probably further along in the dev cycle as well while NAL still at the project definition stage.
It's a bit suprising NSR has a score of 66.85 given that Thier long range loitering drone is flying & has more range & payload than the CSIR NAL drone which is still in drawing board
