As part of expansion of the existing unit, BEL has taken up establishment of an Advance Night Vision Products Factory in Nimmaluru Village, Pamarru Mandal, Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh in an area of around 50 acres, to cater to the futuristic requirements for Night Vision Products. The new factory is likely to create direct and indirect employment for around 500 people.
 
They don't operate at the same altitude.

ISR is for 12-20/30Km altitude, whereas Ghatak is for below 12Km.

A penetrative ISR is needed to support Ghatak.
You are right there is supersonic highly manoeuvrable UAV under development by ADA. May be it will be used for ISR role but right now they are calling it as interceptor.

That new drone is for the air superiority role. It's called FUFA. A penetrative ISR should be many years away due to its complexity. The other two drones will be far more expendable in comparison.
 
This guy, Sriram, is severely underestimating the value of $300M for R&D in India. Our most expensive R&D program, AMCA, will cost us a mere $250M per year on average, minus engine. You can do a lot of stuff for $300M a year. Like the entire R&D cost of Arjun tank over the many decades was a little over $200M with inflation.
