Looks like we are close to a deal for India's first fighter jet export. Su-30 MKI/Super Sukhoi to Armenia, deliveries will start in 2029.

Now only if fuc*ing iaf also orders few more new squads of super sukhoi with composite airframe, after first batch of 12 new su30mki gets delivered.
Not even sure Armenia has that kind of money for their budget.

That's pretty expensive. Will they get the Super-Sukhoi standard or the normal one? I assume it's the former based on the price.
I am guessing they will upgrade the 4 Su-30SM they have to MKI standard. Buy 8-12 MKI, and then get upgrades for super sukhoi in future? Armenia were interested in Tejas 1A and 2, according to one Armenian intel account. Maybe 1A is included in the deal ? Otherwise, deal is expensive. Don't know where they got the numbers, can't find another source.

Maybe they are also procuring a significant chunk of A2A and A2G weaponry as part of this deal.
They will likely not repeat the mistake of not procuring weapons systems as they did when they acquired 4 Su-30SM from Russia.
I have my doubt. It is like you post some positive rumour news of a famous person in social media with tagging in , and that person liked the post. It does not make that rumour true or false. So we have to see. Based on Armenia spending capacity I would be surprised at such outlay. Even Russia would mind if they buy double digit nos like that after just 4 jets from them.
Upgrading those 4 airframes into MKI standard can happen, if available.
Actually they had bought missiles according to that intel account. One of his substack article was shared here, see post 365 and 366 on page 19 by Gautam. He had also written a semi paid article which discussed armenia's interest in tejas and astra missile (see post 366). Unfortunately, for some reason he has deleted his substack blog and the tweet related to this as well

No, just the Armenia capacity or need for such a deal. Upgrading their 4 su30 seem more plausible than new 10 jets, that is.
