We need to replace all S-125 Pichoras with Akash-NG. I think there are 12 of them active.
if they are making use of SAMAR as homemade solution, should not prevent them from integrating VL astra with IACCS , in same manner as that Akash pic in the back screen during yesterday press conf.
Also the dew and HPM , HPM is about to go for trials by CHESS, they were hiring technical manpower recently ie contract sorting.
We need to reverse engineer the pechoras and make something like akash and sell it to export market.
Aren't all SA-6s and S-125s set to be replaced by Akash and it's derivatives? Or am I mistaken?
Heck, I remember reading some where that Indian S-400 were based on TATA 8×8 chassis. Evidently not.
