We need to replace all S-125 Pichoras with Akash-NG. I think there are 12 of them active.We utilised our silver bullets very efficiently but now all these will be supplemented with desi versions. Also, all the AFS will get new CUAS.

2. S400 (5 squadron) with Kusha (8 squadron)

if they are making use of SAMAR as homemade solution, should not prevent them from integrating VL astra with IACCS , in same manner as that Akash pic in the back screen during yesterday press conf.We utilised our silver bullets very efficiently but now all these will be supplemented with desi versions. We need to reverse engineer the pechoras and make something like akash and sell it to export market.We need to replace all S-125 Pichoras with Akash-NG. I think there are 12 of them active.
Akash is basically a sa-6 gainful with indian radar seekerAren't all SA-6s and S-125s set to be replaced by Akash and it's derivatives? Or am I mistaken?
Heck, I remember reading some where that Indian S-400 were based on TATA 8×8 chassis. Evidently not.
